The Terminator Linda Hamilton ... Sarah Connor Edward Furlong ... John Connor Robert Patrick ... T-1000 Earl Boen ... Dr. Silberman Joe Morton ... Miles Dyson Leslie Hamilton Gearren ... Twin Sarah Synopsis: A decade has passed since Kyle Reese was killed and the Terminator was destroyed. But now he's back. Another T-800 was sent back through time. But he's not here to terminate. He's here to protect John from the more advanced Terminator model T-1000 - a shapeshifter. Sarah, John and the T-800 have their hands full with staying alive and preventing the apocalypse. They have to destroy Skynet before it's even made. My Opinion: I had totally forgotten how young John was. I remembered him at least four years older - maybe due to new series. But I still like the movie very much. Robert Patrick is a great adversary with cool morphing effects. And while some of the jokes that John made the T-800 do were a bit childish I liked their interaction. I also liked how the T-800 killed nobody and still had an amazing rounds per minute ratio. For me, it's the best part of the trilogy - let's see how the fourth part will be. (From DJ Doena's movie watchings 2009 on March 19th, 2009) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: Jennifer Garner (13 Going On 30, "Alias"), Eion Bailey (Fight Club, Almost Famous) and Scott Bairstow ("Party of Five") star as three twentysomething best friends living in Los Angeles and having the best - and worst! - times of their lives. Whether they're falling in love with the wrong people, auditioning chickens, or writing a parent's eulogy, Nell (Garner), Campbell (Bailey), and Henry (Bairstow) know that no matter how wondrous, ridiculous, and painful life may be, they'll always have each other's friendship to carry them through. The complete series from the creators of "Party of Five" reminds us what it's like to be young, passionate, and willing to risk everything...over and over again. There's no one better to do it with than your SIGNIFICANT OTHERS. Significant Others 1.01 Pilot Cast: Scott Bairstow (Henry Calloway), Eion Bailey (Campbell Chasin), Michael Weatherly (Ben Chasin), Jennifer Garner (Nell Glennon), Elizabeth Mitchell (Jane Merril-Chasin), Gigi Rice (Charlotte), Jennifer Savidge (Bev Chasin), Channon Roe (Nicky), Joseph D. Reitman (Stu), Kenneth Kimmins (Nell's PR Firm Boss), Richard Masur (Leonard Chasin), Ali Landry (Gorgeous Woman), Cheryl Carter (Justice of the Peace), Gene Chronopoulos (Tony), Louisa Abernathy (Focus Group Woman #1), Jane Edith Wilson (Focus Group Woman #2), Kelly Ann McCarthy (Focus Group Woman #3), Krystal Benn (Eight Year Old), Talia-Lynn Prairie (Three Year Old), Fred Ornstein (Uncle Shelley), Michael Elliot (Bartender) This series was a blind buy some time ago. I never really enjoyed this series. I think it is boring. Rating: (From Tom's TV Pilots marathon on July 4th, 2012) |
