I don't know why but I don't think I will stop so soon next time
It was easier when I just had to tease you like the others because horror was a no-no, now I can't tease you at all

I finally got the Director's Cut of the 2010 "Wolfman", now that is a fine piece of horror arts. Definitely worth watching ... yupp, I would even say it's a great movie ...  .. .  :tease:
I just wonder if someone's planning to do a 100 million $ remake of "The Swamp Thing"

Next year I am planning to stop for only a month... maybe 2 at the most!

This is one of the ones I have recently gotten... and just can't wait to see. I see both the theatrical version as well as the Dirctor's Cut is on the disc... I guess I should go with the Director's cut for first time viewing?

I don't own the theatrical version, so I can't say for sure.
My usual stance is: "watch the longer version". Which in this case would mean the DC.

Maybe you should have started with 28 bats in that banner...and have one disappear each day?  That would make it even more effective!

That would have been cool... too bad it wasn't one of the options.

I didn't see Maléfique in your collection (sorry, no subtitles on the trailer).

Question...

I am going through DVD Profiler looking at what horror movies I have in my collection... and DVDP lists the Stephen King movie The Dead Zone as horror... I personally never seen that movie as horror... would you consider it horror?

Nope,
but I wouldn't have considered "American Psycho" to be "Horror" either. So I possibly don't count.

Always remember: Excessive use of a chainsaw alone, doesn't make it a horror movie, otherwise "Scrooged" might be considered as "Horror" ... OK, bad example when I come to think of it, some people will surely do so.

Jimmy

Yes... It isn't a scary monster horror movie but it is one like Firestarter or Carrie (so it depend of if you think those 2 are)

:2cents:

addicted2dvd

Well I definitely think those two are. :)

The #1 rule of horror...if Stephen King wrote it, it's horror.  :readthis:

I don't know if I'll take part in the horror marathon...it's not my favorite genre and frankly I have very little in my collection.  But I do have a few things...the Frankenstein Legacy set, Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera...mostly older stuff like that.  And a few titles Kathy sent me that I got today also fall in that area...like The Ring.  Maybe I can watch those and mix in some Halloween episodes of sitcoms and such.
