This thread can't have long left. I'd never heard of this, but apparently it does come out this year! Looks predictable, but if done well, could be very funny and quite clever:

The Invention of Lying

The trailer is funny and definitely shows potential. Let's hope they didn't squeeze all good bits in it and the rest of the movie remains dull.

I am sorry, but...

...that poster looks amazing! Not that it makes me expect a good film. Ahem, on the poster it says "Debbie Gibson", is that really that little singer-girl from many years ago...? Was she really (uncredited) in Ghostbusters :hmmmm:?

It seems the R1 is already out since May.

Well, Roger Ebert's review certainly is a funny piece to read.

I know that the reviews haven't been favourable(but realistically how often are the reviews favourable for action/CGi heavy films?), but I really, really enjoyed it.

This is the first proper summer blockbuster that I've seen this year. After the first ten minutes I felt like I was 10 years old again, I wanted to be G.I. Joe.

Halloween II
Might as well. Seen the first one and found it o.k.

Interesting concept. Will I stop playing killing-games after this...? :hmmmm:

Is this the The Thing remake? If yes, I am not feeling good about this. If not, then why does the plot appear so similar?

QuoteLegion
Oh, yes!

It's based on a comic written by Greg Rucka and drawn by Steve Lieber.

Could be the comic's fault, too.

Maybe it'll go somewhere else,. but somehow the vibe I got from the trailer was screaming The Thing, very loudly. Well, that's not necessarily an entirely bad thing, as long as they are not trying to kid themselves...

While I can see how it could easily fail, I certainly want to see it as well!

Jimmy

Not necessarily a must see movie, but it's sure an original, weird and curious British horror production.

and a review of it

Sorry I can't find a trailer
