It's a movie I saw a few years ago, I don't remember if I owned it, rented it or saw it on tv.  I thought it was with Cate Blanchett but I went through her movies on IMDB and couldn't find it so I guess I'm wrong there.

The story is in WWII, at the beginning the women work for the british government listening to radio communications for the decoding department.  I don't really remember what happens next but I know the main female characters falls in love with a guy and, if I'm not mistaking, at the end it turns out that they're both double agents or something like that.

I can vaguely remember that the movie ends with both of them trying to be the first one to reach a church somewhere for some reason.

My senses tell me I have heard of this film, but not seen it (you, know, reading magazines or such). I just can't put my finger on the title or an actor's name Bag

Could it happen to be the film Enigma?

Starring Kate Winslet and Dougray Scott

I thought it sounded a bit like the Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffiths film - Shining Through?

Emma's the winnger.  It's definitely Enigma.

 Thanks !

P.S: Jon knows everything about the Enigma, if anyone's interested he can tell you how the Americans ended the war by capturing one those machines in a U-Boat.
