I don't know. Somehow I like her humor. Her character is so politically incorrect without realizing it.

Also for those who have watched "Mr. Show with Bob and David" will see a lot of familiar faces in this series. If you haven't seen "Mr. Show" then I recommend checking it out. It is often said to be a modern "Monty Python's Flying Circus".

I like the Damon sketches too. Have you seen the one where he finally appears on Kimmel's show? Jimmy spends so long introducing him, Matt barely has time to sit down before its the end of the show, so he has a foul mouthed rant! Brilliant. Wish we had shows like that in the UK.

I (finally) bought an iPhone today :yahoo: (they are still not official in Taiwan, but mine is not jail broken either...).

I also added
Transformers (Two-Doisc Special Edition)

to my collection.

Blu-ray or not Blu-ray, that's the question...

I'm seriously starting to consider buying a Blu-ray player.

If you like movies (which I know you do) and would like to see them in even better quality, then the answer is Yer.

However, I suppose you are aware that it doesn't stop there. You'll need an appropriate TV as well Depending on your TV-room size I'd say 40" up (;D) and ideally some sort of surround sound.

If you like watching TV, be warned that with a big screen TV the enjoyment of SD TV is definitely going down.

I personally can only support such decision. Once you compare the same DVD in SD and HD on the same screen you know that the difference is substantial.

Surround is not the problem the new TV is. I had some rather large expenses this year and can't spend one or two K€ on a new telly at the moment. :(

SD TV is not a problem either, I don't really watch german TV anymore.

Well, I'd say getting the new upgrade TV sometime early next year should still be fine, you could still start collecting and peeking at your Blu-ray's until then. However, buying a Blu-ray player and not knowing when you'll be able to upgrade the TV seems a bit like a waste.

Not owning a BluRay player yet but now a FullHD TV, will cut down my DVD purchases for the rest of this year. I still have a handful of pre-orders open, but I will not order any movies on DVD anymore (especially not recent blockbuster movies). I will make exception to my "no DVDs" stance for TV series and older movies which are not available on BluRay.
Beginning of the new year I will look out for a BluRay player. Currently the market is just in the beginning. They just started to bring out decent affordable BluRay players recently. And I will need a BluRay player which at least can handle Region A and B.

Urugl, now that is starting again. I've totally forgotten that DVD players used to have region protection.

I never watched it because I heard the same, but apparently, series 2 was a huge improvement, so it might be worth you sticking with it. Which reminds me, did you ever watch Bones? :)
