Not sure if it's my turn but here it is anyway

ninehours

It's stars a British comedy double act

Najemikon

Mate, they will never get it if it involves Britain! I know from bitter experience...

ninehours

Najemikon

Well, I wouldn't go as far as listing this as "must see". However the pair involved were one of the very best double acts in the history of comedy double acting.

Bring me sunshine..."

ninehours

Shall i post something different i seem to have brought two games to a standstill  :tomato:

I know it's Eric Morecombe & Ernie Wise.

But I can't remember what it's called and I refuse to cheat.

Is it something about salesmen?

I remembered it, when I clicked on the post button. I think.

My one and only guess is That Riviera Touch.

If it's not then Najers is gonna have to do the honours.

It's not That Riviera Touch only 2 to go think they only made 3 Films.

ninehours

It's "The Intelligence Men"
Board open to whoever wants it.

ninehours

Now Kathy i will be shocked and amazed if you have not seen this one

Najemikon

Mate, it's still British! Not a chance.

Back to Morecambe and Wise I wouldn't bother with the films, especially if you're not sure you can play them. If you want to see and appreciate Morecambe and Wise for their true genius, get a compilation of show highlights or something. The films aren't awful, but I feel they lose the core appel of what made the two of them so brilliant. Ernie was always the determined straight man, thwarted by Eric.

This is a quick link to M&W titles on region 2: http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/search.aspx

And one of my favourite sketches -with guest Andre Previn- to give you a taster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T19IIFbZ8KU

And here's another with Tom Jones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U817vt5Br44

And if you know nothing of this pair, you'll probably have never heard of the act that came closest. The Two Ronnies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCbvCRkl_4U&mode=related&search= and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIFx_GQIfSk&mode=related&search=

:hysterical: :tease:

Not just British it a Classic

BTW agree on your assessment of Morecambe & Wise there TV shows were far Superior to their films.
