I don't think this is that big of a request to be able to do our self moderation as the forum moderation doesn't work

If you have a problem with a single user (that doesn't even come around here all to often anymore), I cannot see any urgent need for a "Block"-function.
Monitoring this forum quite frequently I haven't realized an urgent need for moderation either.

If you don't want to read postings from a certain user there is an easy way to achieve this: Just don't do it.

For me it's an urgent one that deserve the same respect that another one asking for a new smiley.
For me and for others it's a problem and a recurent one.
Don't read it don't work when someone post in a topic I read.

I find it's an important fonction to add since no moderation is done whatever a single member is attack or some members are targeted or all the members are called loosers.

Finally what does it change for you if I block a user or not?

Michael it wasn't my intention to sound rude in my reply, hope that you didn't read it this way. It's just that I don't understand why it would be a problematic thing to ask for something that exist in 90% of the discussion boards. Really I don't think I will miss anything usefull by blocking one user, even T!M is more worthy of my time and everybody know how I hate his "I'm better than you" attitude.
