Haha I've seen this one before. It's got to be a fake, just has to be  :-\

Well he got the fire lit.

Kind of reminded me of the castle burning in Kurosawa's Ran

Critter

Just a quick note on the above video. Apparently all the spiders started to eat each other so now they need to throw a bunch of crickets etc in with him every day .

I can't even begin to imagine what going through something like that must be like...

Devastating!   :(

I watched my uncle dealing with my aunt suffering with Alzheimer's.  It was heartbreaking.  Sometimes I think it would have been much easier for him if she had passed with a heart attack at the beginning, but he never gave up on her, even after she was clueless about who he was.  Very sad.

I have a very warped sense of humor.

Funny stuff.

This one, well I've lost count how many times I've watched it.

I have to say I found this very false. It's BBC's annual Children In Need on Friday and they show excellent vignettes of real people. It's a harsh and cruel life that some have to follow and when you see what some kids deal with, it's heartbreaking. I don't mean to undermine that film as it is very good. Just something stops me being convinced whereas I expect to feel very small and humbled on Friday.

I haven't had to deal with Alzheimer's, but my mum has a condition called Essential Tremor. Without medication she shakes uncontrollably when trying to do anything and with it, her personality switches and her short term memory is useless. It's very tough to deal with, though ironically the more she relies on me, the more relaxed I am.

Dealing with any medical condition is tough, but anything that robs the sufferer of their core personality is especially cruel. I really don't know how I'd cope with Alzheimer's, which is just an inevitable decline.

Ok, so this video is pretty pointless and the... bear... thing... is definitely weird, but this girl extremely attractive, so I can forgive her rabbiting on for 10 minutes...  ;)
