Don't know. But you're right, he should look this one up. Pete? Got your ears on, good buddy?

But I think it would be nice if we at least tell him the name of the film...

It's Harvey

Dragonfire

I saw part of Harvey when I found it on HBO last month..but I had to leave so I didn't see much of it.

Definitely seek it out Marie, it's Stewart's best performance.

Achim

Great thread, Jon!

I just put Fallen Idol on my library queue.
After Jon's description and sampling about 3 of the 4 minutes from the YouTube video I put the Criterion on my Wish List.

Hmm, my favourite Stewart performance.....

I cant decide between Rope, The Glenn Miller Story or Right of Way :/

;p I even like his guest voice appearances in the Goof Troop!

...Oh wait, before this gets said. my friend that uses this forum "Venomsinner" his real name is James Stewart.... he always comments when I say i like James Stewart ¬_¬

Najemikon

Whoops, forgot one and added to first post: Wait Until Dark. Another great film that lovers of Rear Window would especially enjoy, I think.

Dragonfire

Wait Until Dark is really good.  Great thriller type of movie.

:bag: I can't believe I named my favorite James Stewart performances and missed out Its a Wonderful Life

So, are you thinking your parents were really cool or "what were they thinking"?

addicted2dvd

just caught up on this thread thanks to mention in the other thread.

Thanks for the suggestion of Harvey. I am also becoming a fan of Jimmy Stewart.  I also never seen Rope.

Lol..... Actually Achim, his parents did not know of James Stewart.... ironicly his fathers Surname is Dean and they chose his mothers (Stewart) as they imagined it would be easier for him  :hysterical:

So the choice was either James Stewart or James Dean!   :o

He was destined for infamy one way or another!   ;D

hahahaha, his name is the source of amusement, I spend hours making fun of him.

Just last week we had to walk 5 flights of stairs because the lift was out and i asked if he had Vertigo
