Whoops, forgot one and added to first post: Wait Until Dark. Another great film that lovers of Rear Window would especially enjoy, I think.

Wait Until Dark is really good.  Great thriller type of movie.

Thanks for the suggestion of Harvey. I am also becoming a fan of Jimmy Stewart.  I also never seen Rope.

Lol..... Actually Achim, his parents did not know of James Stewart.... ironicly his fathers Surname is Dean and they chose his mothers (Stewart) as they imagined it would be easier for him
