My Thoughts:
I think they should have just quit after the first one.  Five years after nuking Racoon City, and yet the "bad" guys still have all the power and supplies they need to run their underground complexes; while on the surface, the virus has wiped out the rest of the world except a few odd survivors.  Cites are buried under sand.  Hundreds of clones have been created (full grown, no less), but what exactly is the purpose.  If they really want to cure the virus, why aren't they working together with Alice. How is it that Alice has wandered for 5 years when she is supposedly under the control of the "Alice program".
It's just all too disjointed.  Not to mention that they have to revert to Hitchcock to add something new to the horror.  Just did not work for me!  Maybe I'm just burned out on this storyline.   :yucky:

The Italian Stallion, a review by Jimmy

Title : The Italian Stallion (1970)

Overview
Sly plays the part of "Stud" whose world revolves entirely around sex, sex and more sex, an interest he shares with his way - out friends and his girl Kitty who likes her men mean and muscular!!

My Impression
Sometimes you are "obsessed" by a movie with no logic reasons at all. I own 2 version of this movie (one on a dvd-r that I've bought many years ago for more than 30$ and this version released last year because it had the prologue by Gail Palmer), I've 3 different trailers for it and I have a German import of it on my wishlist at xploited cinema because it countains the hardcore insert add later (for this Hershell Savage plays the "part" of Stallone). But the version that I really dream to own is the original version name The Party at Kitty and Stud's, evidently this is an impossible dream since this movie is lost (the original print was destroyed by Bryanston to make the version that we have now).

First thing first : this is not a pornographic movie at all, this is just a softcore New York exploitation movie like many others in my library. What to say about the story? Not really much since the editing had removed everything that could be a plot. So we can say that Kitty and Stud are obsessed with each others and they have a party with four of their friends where the six of them have an orgy.

The acting is really poor (but Stallone act better in this than in most of his other movies) this is not for nothing if all the other credited member of the cast had made one movie. In fact the only experienced actress in the movie is Marie Brent (I have a lot of movie with her), she is not credited and she play a non important role (at least in this version). The cast is not really good looking too, only Henrietta Holm had a good body on the 4 actresses but she doesn't really have a beautifull face. The dialogue is funny (certainly not intentional) with some gem like "I'll be velvet-mouthed on your shank of love!". The theme song is good too.

Like I've said don't expect too much of this. There are a lot of nudity by not so great looking peoples but if you are a Stallone completist this is a movie that you'll need in your library and, to be honest, he act better in this than he does in Rambo 2 or 3.

I've almost attach some pictures of Stallone for Kathy and Laura, but I've seen the deluge of  :yellowcard: :redcard: :yucky: in my head and that made me change my idea

The X-Files Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

The X-Files: Season 1

1. Pilot
Original Air Date: September 10, 1993
After a number of Oregon high school teens begin to die mysteriously, Scully and Mulder are called to investigate the matter.

Guest Stars:
Charles Cioffi as Chief Blevins
Cliff DeYoung as Dr. Jay Nemman
Sarah Koskoff as Theresa Nemman
Leon Russom as Detective Miles
Zachary Ansley as Billy Miles

My Thoughts:
This is a well done introduction to the characters. The chemistry between the main characters is there right from the start. The storyline of this episode... while good... there are better. As I said before... never cared much for the Alien stuff. And this is really the start of the series long arc. But of course at this point the arc is interesting.

When I popped this episode in this morning I couldn't get over how young the cast looked. It is hard for me to believe that these episodes are already a good 17 years old. Which I think... for me at least is a good reason to figure on watching the second movie at the end of the marathon. It won't be as much of a visual disruption from the episodes to the movies back to the episodes again.
