Plot:
Critics have called it "JAWS in the snow". Audience members fainted at its Sundance premiere. And it remains perhaps the most intense and terrifying film of the year: As Sunday evening falls, three friends decide to take one last run down the ski slope. Halfway up the mountain their chair lift stops, the lights go out, and the resort closes for the week. They are forgotten on the icy mountain lift and left stranded fifty feet in the air, but the worst is still to come. A storm is approaching, frostbite is setting in, and on the ground below them a pack of hungry wolves has gathered... to feed. Kevin Zegers (DAWN OF THE DEAD, TRANSAMERICA), Shawn Ashmore (X-MEN, THE RUINS) and Emma Bell ("The Walking Dead") star in the relentlessly chilling survival thriller from writer/director Adam Green (HATCHET) that Ain't It Cool News hails as "a vicious, scary and horrifying experience... FROZEN is Hitchcock With Teeth!"

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It is one of those horror movies that is scary because it could easily happen in real life. There is no supernatural creature coming after you in this one. It all occurs from human stupidity. Something that there is an abundance of in this world. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it.

The terror of Dark Water reaches new heights on Blu-ray Disc. Starring acclaimed actress Jennifer Connelly, the film Rolling Stone calls "a torrent of suspense" is a visual and auditory wonder in this revolutionary high definition format.

Life becomes a living nightmare for Dahlia Williams and her daughter when their new apartment begins to take on a life of its own. Experience every heart-stopping moment in razor-sharp 1080p, and feel the grip of every blood-curdling scream delivered in 5.1 48 kHz, 16-bit uncompressed audio. See, hear and feel the excitement with Blue-ray High Definition.

My Thoughts:
This movie combines both horror and a psychological thriller.  The director does a good job of making the viewer question whether things that are happening are real or just figments of Dahlia's or Ceci's imagination, reminiscent of movies like Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte.  I'm still trying to figure out exactly why they used "Dark Water" as the manifestation of the little Russian girl.  The hair coming out of the faucet was kinda gross, though.
Definitely worth a spin.

Miracles Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Miracles Marathon

4. Little Girl Lost
A little girl keeps appearing to Paul Callan just before several disasters occur, causing him to wonder if she is responsible for them and, if so, why?

Guest Stars:
Gloria Stuart
Allisyn Ashley Arm
James Greene
Melinda Page Hamilton

My Thoughts:
This is one of my favorite episodes. I was glued to the screen watching this episode. There is something extra eerie about a ghost story when it is about the ghost of a young child. And I must admit... they got a good effect with little effort. just a little bit of a couple different shades of gray makeup on the face of a good child actress. This kid must of been good at taking direction as you could just see the pain and sorrow in her face. I just loved this episode... everyone did an excellent job!
