Two of the biggest action stars are together for the first time in one explosive adventure. JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME is Luc Devreaux and DOLPH LUNDGREN is Sgt. But on an antiterrorist mission, Devreaux's memory starts to return and he escapes from the program. A superhuman chase across the country begins, with Sgt. Scott in unrelenting pursuit of the man who killed him. Devreaux heads for his home and a reunion with his unbelieving parents. There Sgt. Scott corners him for the ultimate clash of the titans.

Extras:

My Thoughts:
This is another movie I haven't watched in several years. Not too bad for some mindless entertainment. I used to really enjoy Van Damme movies... but it seems over the years I just don't have the taste for them that I had. At least this one does have a bit of a sci-fi twist to it. So that added to the entertainment some.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

North, a review by Antares

North (1994) 1/5 - I always wondered what it must have been like for Rob Reiner in the 70's to be walking down a street or eating in a restaurant and having some stranger waltz up and yell Hey Meathead. It had to be excruciatingly annoying. After finishing North, I now realize that he must have really hated the general public so much, that he delivered a two hour shit burger just to get even. I finally got the chance to watch this today, courtesy of HDNet movies, and I'm glad that I didn't grab this at Blockbuster oh so many years ago. For a gifted director, who gave us The Princess Bride, This is Spinal Tap, Misery, When Harry Met Sally and the seminal Stand By Me, to unleash this stinking pile of excrement on the public, should be grounds for banishment from Hollywood. The other part of the equation that baffles me is that Alan Zweibel, long one of the better comedy writers at Saturday Night Live in the 70's and 80's, would pen such an unfunny, cliche ridden mess of a screenplay. To say that it is painful to watch is being kind. I'd rather watch Madonna do Shakespeare than have to ever sit through this film again. There isn't one joke in this film that even raises a mere chuckle, and Elijah Wood, with those evil blue eyes of his, is absolutely loathsome in the title role.

Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Season 8: Disc 4

12. BULLETPROOF
Clark Kent, undercover cop. He poses as a police officer to find who shot Det. JOHN JONES, AKA MARTIAN MANHUNTER. Tess discovers that she is linked to Lex in a surprising way.

My Thoughts:
A good episode. I liked the whole going undercover as a cop thing. Even if it has been done before (Lois & Clark).

My Rating:

13. POWER
Can move at superspeed and snatch a bullet out of the air: That person is...LANA LANG. She uses the empowering nano-thechnology skin graft of the Prometheus Project on herself. But Clark worries that her new abilities may be too much for her.

My Thoughts:
While I did enjoy this episode... I didn't like it as much as most the others. I don't know that I like the whole super-powered Lana idea. I don't know if this is something that follows the comics or if it is a Smallville thing.

My Rating:

14. REQUIEM
A toymaker turns his creation into kryptonite-laced bombs. One detonates inside the LUTHORCORP boardroom with deadly results. Another will take down the Daily Planet building if Lana and Clark don't find it. But finding it will have consequences....

My Thoughts:
I am not sure why... but the person that plays the Toymaker looks familiar but can't place him. While I still don't care for the whole superpowered Lana idea... this is a pretty good episode. And is this the last time we see Lana? I really can't remember if she been back on the show since or not.

My Rating:

15. INFAMOUS

My Thoughts:
I found this episode to be excellent. I liked how it showed Clark what would happen if the world found out his secret. It seems normally shows like this goes one of two ways an alternate reality or time travel. In this case they decided to go with time travel and set it up back in the episode of Legion.
