Sunshine (2007) 5/100 - I never laughed so hard at a film that I wasn't supposed to be laughing at.

There were times when I felt I was watching derivative, paltry versions of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien and SolarisEbullism in a vacuumEnd, will you please end this f u c k ing film!!!!!Teal = Masterpiece

Plot:
Don Bolton (Bob Hope) is a movie star with a phobia about loud noises. Not wanting to give up his career and his easy life, he plans to dodge the military draft by getting married. Don meets the lovely Tony Fairbanks (Dorothy Lamour) when she visits his set with her father, Peter (Clarence Kolb), a colonel, and the two are soon engaged. In an effort to boost Tony's opinion of him, Don pretends to join the army. The ruse backfires, however, and he finds himself actually enlisted.

A fun film. Lots of funny situations in this one. Caught in the Draft has 2 of the 3 stars of the "Road to" films. Only Bing Crosby missing. Bob Hope's character here is a lot of fun to watch. The things you will get yourself into for a girl you like!

Plot:
The first ever story of the world's longest-running science fiction series comes to DVD for the first time!

Susan Foreman is a mystery to teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright, seemingly knowing more then she should about the past... and the future. Their curiosity leads them to follow her home one night, only to find her 'home' appears to be a deserted junkyard. In the junkyard, they discover a police telephone box and a stange old man, who claims to be Susan's grandfather, and calls himself the Doctor. The journey of a lifetime is about to begin...

This first episode of the classic Doctor Who series is a nice introduction to the characters and the series. I enjoyed this first part. The following three episodes which makes up the first Doctor Who storyline were quite boring though.
