Plot:
1959. Friday nights. We time-traveled. Witnessed surprising twists. Entertained aliens. Experienced fear. And first journeyed to The Twilight Zone of Rod Serling's memorable TV series. And guided by four imaginative moviemakers, we traveled there again in 1983. Directors John Landis, Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante, and George Miller fashion stories based on or inspired by classic episodes. Landis weaves the tale of a bigot who gets a walloping dose of his own hatred. Spielberg takes over with a fable of senior citizens offered a magical rejuvenation. Dante serves up a terror trip with a child who uses his cartoon-inspired powers to enslave his family. Then fright goes aloft with Miller's finale about a neurotic passenger who sees a monster on the jetliner's wing. Or does he?

My Thoughts:
This is one of my old favorites. One of the first anthology horrors I ever seen. I always loved how this movie started. The prologue is a lot of fun. But I never cared much for the actual first segment of the movie. The one with the bigot finding out what it is like to be like the people he hates so much. It is a good idea for a story... and I wouldn't go so far to say it is a bad segment. It just seemed to not keep my attention as well as the rest of the movie.

The second story is more of a fun story. Where with the help of a new resident the people in the retirement home become young again while playing outside one night. And they need to decide if they want to stay young or be old once again.  Not the greatest story either... but I enjoyed it more then the first one.

In the third segment I enjoyed quite a bit. We meet a boy that can do anything he can imagine. Of course this is from a famous episode of the series. I am still not that familiar with the series and think that all the segments are from episodes of the series. But I must admit I like the way the episode was done more then the segment in this movie. As the movie made it too cartoon-ish.

The final segment is my favorite one in the movie. A man afraid of flying is up in a plane where he sees a gremlin out on the wing tearing up the plane. It is this segment that really made this movie for me. It pushes the movie to the next rating level for me personally.

Overview: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (Something is Happening) is a story of 2 best friends at college. Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) and tomboy Anjali (Kajol).

Unknown to Rahul, Anjali has fallen in love with him - When Rahul confesses that he is in love with Tina (Rani Mukerji), Anjali is heartbroken and decides to leave the college so that Rahul and Tina can get together.

Now, nine years have passed and Rahul is a single parent after Tina's demise.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a story of best friends.... Now they are falling in love.

My Thoughts: Oh dear. What can I say. Just have to repeat myself. Another wonderful recommendation of a film. This film is a weepy romance with a comedic edge. Weepy bits start from the off and continue on and off until almost the end just over 3 hours later. The first half of the film is the story of Rahul (Shahrukh Khan), Anjali (Kajol) and Tina (Rani Mukerji) as related to Tina and Rahul's daughter via a letter written to her before Tina's death after giving birth to her. The second half is how their daughter follows her mother's wishes as expressed in that letter.

My Rating: A very enjoyable, even though it was a weepy, 3+ +

1. Time Has Come Today
Izzie faces life after Denny with the help of Meredith and Cristina. George and Derek are quarantined together after operating on a dangerously contagious patient. Alex searches for the mother of an abandoned infant, while Richard's wife makes an appointment with him in order to deliver an ultimatum. The interns reminisce about the first time they met.

My Thoughts:
This is a great episode. I enjoyed every minute of it. It starts up right where season 2 left off. Izzie is a wreck. Meredith is trying to figure out what happened that night means. George has to figure out if he loves callie. And along with all of this a plegue threat. I also liked all the flashbacks that showed how they all first met... even before the pilot episode of the series.

2. I Am A Tree
Three unique patients have unforeseen effects on the interns. Cristina has an awkward first meeting with Burke's family. A pair of panties on the lost-and-found board leads to trouble for George and Callie. Derek makes an important decision on his future, but Meredith is having trouble making a decision of her own.

My Thoughts:
Another good episode. I was really interested in the medical care in this episode where the teen boy got impaled on a tree branch. Unfortunately they didn't spend too much time on the case. Instead they opted to stick with the doctor's personal lives. Which I normally don't care for... but I am really into the stories right now.

3. Sometimes A Fantasy
Meredith finds that juggling two suitors is not as easy as she thought. Izzie heads to Seattle Grace to ask for a second chance. Cristina takes action when she thinks that Burke has given up. George is having second thoughts about his relationship with Callie, and Alex treats a young girl who believes that she is a superhero.

My Thoughts:
Another good episode. I really liked the case of the little girl who don't have the ability to feel pain. So what does she think? she is some kind of superhero and keeps it to herself. Except to show off a little for other kids. Ending up being seriously hurt internally without realizing it. Izzie is scared of the idea of asking for another chance.

My Rating:

4. What I Am
Izzie gets a visit and surprise gift from Denny's father. Meredith faces an emergency appendectomy and has a heart-to-heart talk with Addison while under the influence of morphine. Mark Sloan joins the Seattle Grace staff, and Derek is not happy about it. Burke is cleared to return to work but is hiding a potentially disastrous secret. Meredith finally makes her choice between Derek and Finn, her dog's veterinarian

My Thoughts:
Another good episode... though this one for the most part is all personal life.  Though they do touch on a couple decent medical cases... not only Meredith with appendicitis... but also a man that actually thought it would be a good idea to light a cigarette in the hospital room... while wearing his oxygen. Smart man... huh? The ending on this one has me a little up in the air... not sure if I like it or not.
