Stars: Darren Criss as Superman / Clark Kent (voice) Zachary Quinto as Lex Luthor (voice) Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter (voice) Eugene Byrd as Ron Troupe (voice) David Chen as Med Student / Scientist (voice) Plot: A NEW SUPER HERO FOR A NEW AGE! Meet Clark Kent. Sent to earth as an infant from the dying planet of Krypton, he arrived with as many questions as the number of light-years he travelled. Now a young man, he makes his living in Metropolis as an intern at the Daily Planet - alongside reporter Lois Lane - while secretly wielding his alien powers of flight, super-strength and x-ray vision in the battle for good. Follow the fledgling hero as he engages in bloody battles with intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo before fighting for his life with the alien Parasite. The world will learn about Superman...but first, Superman must save the world! Extras:
My Thoughts: I enjoyed this one, though it did seem a bit on the weird side to me as it didn't follow the usual Superman mythos. It wasn't bad persay... just different and kinda threw me off a bit. But it was enjoyable and I can see myself watching it again. Rating: (From Superman: Man of Tomorrow on July 23rd, 2023) Bloodsport, a review by RichTitle: Bloodsport Runtime:92 Certificate:R Year:1988 Genres:Action, Martial Arts Plot:My Review: Loosely based on a true story, i must admit to enjoying watching this early van damme martial arts film that I watched years ago on video. He was an even worse actor then than he is now (and thats saying something) but he sure could fight, and his trademark splits were portrayed several times. Definately a lads film with more and more violent bouts, a baddie in the guise of Bolo Yeung, a multitude of different fighting styles on show, and an early Forest Whittaker performance. The loose sub plots do not detract from the main aim of the film, namely a high kicking ball busting scrapfest, which was delivered with aplomb. One to watch with a few mates and a crate of beer. My Rating (From Riches Random Reviews on January 24th, 2010) Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by TomEnterprise Season 3.18 Azati Prime Writer: Manny Coto (Screenwriter), Rick Berman (Original Material By), Brannon Braga (Original Material By), Manny Coto (Original Material By) Director: Allan Kroeker Cast: Scott Bakula (Jonathan Archer), John Billingsley (Dr, Phlox), Jolene Blalock (T'Pol), Dominic Keating (Malcolm Reed), Anthony Montgomery (Travis Mayweather), Linda Park (Hoshi Sato), Connor Trinneer (Charles "Trip" Tucker III), Matt Winston (Daniels), Randy Oglesby (Degra), Scott MacDonald (Reptilian Commander), Tucker Smallwood (Xindi-Humanoid), Rick Worthy (Xindi-Arboreal), Christopher Goodman (Thalen) This episode has a short scene where Archer gets pulled 400 years into the future. Nothing special though. I find the storyline with the Xindi boring. Rating: (From Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews on October 16th, 2013) |
