My Thoughts:
I felt like some mild... lighthearted comedy next. So I picked this one out from my unwatched pile. Which also happens to be a gift from a friend of mine. This one is an enjoyable little film. I am not surprised it was in there... but I personally could have done with a bit less of Dolly Parton singing through-out the film. But I am sure her fans love it. If you decide to check this one out... just go into it not expecting a whole lot. I think it is enjoyable... but nothing really all that special. Worth watching on a boring lazy day. Though not a top choice.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Nothing But Trouble, a review by Rich

Nothing But Trouble

A businessman finds he and his friends the prisoners of a sadistic judge and his equally odd family in the backwoods of a bizarre mansion.

With such a superb cast, I approached this film with an expectation of content. What a surprise I had, one of the weirdest most unpredictable comedies I've seen.
Some parts are rather unpleasant (Fat foundry twins), some were hilariously funny (penis nose at the dinner table), and others bizarre (imagine Jon Candy in drag for example). Written by Dan Ackroyd, who stars as the hideous judge, it is supported by the likes of Candy, Demi Moore, Chevy Chase, and in one set Tupac!
It is an incredibly difficult film to judge, although on hindsight it was pretty poor, I was compelled to watch all the way through, even suffering the spontaneous pop video in the courtroom.

Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by Tom

TNG 6.06 True Q
WriterDirector: Robert Scheerer
Cast: Patrick Stewart (Capt. Jean-Luc Picard), Jonathan Frakes (Cmdr. William Riker), LeVar Burton (Lt. Cmdr. Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Lieutenant Worf), Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi), Brent Spiner (Lt. Commander Data), Olivia D'Abo (Amanda), John P. Connolly (Lote), John de Lancie (Q)

Though this episode is mostly about Amanda, a guest character, without much involvement of the core cast, I always liked this episode.
This episode shows a much more serious side of Q than the previous episodes. There is hardly any banter between him and the Enterprise crew. But I liked it, when he changed Dr. Crusher into a dog while she was arguing with him :)
