Extras: BD-Live Deleted Scenes Featurettes Photo Gallery Scene Access Trailers My Thoughts: Another cool superhero movie. Before I have first seen this movie, I only ever heard that there is a superhero called Iron Man, but I had never read any comics or seen any animation series with him. But I enjoyed this movie a lot. My only gripe at first was his imprisonment, where he build his first suit and in all the three months he was there, the captors never noticed that he was not working on their rockets but on something else. But after watching it, I read some stuff on Wikipedia about Iron Man, and it seems they stayed true to the comic's origin story, so I won't hold it against the movie.Robert Downey Jr. plays the part of Tony Stark very well. I mainly knew him from his leading part of the romantic comedy "Only You" before this. Also Jeff Bridges was hardly recognizable. He looks so much different than his other role I know him from: The Dude. But I recognized his voice instantly, when I have first seen this movie (I didn't know then, who exactly was in this movie. I didn't research beforehand. I only knew of Robert Downey Jr.). Can't wait for the sequel! Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on January 3rd, 2009) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: You hold in your hands an artefact from a time now vanished forever; a compendium of portals into worlds unknown. An eight-disc set that controls over 26 hours of transmission from the 1963-64 series, this vessel has sought you out for one specific purpose: to expand your mind to "The Outer Limits"! Outer Limits 1.01 The Galaxy Being This is the first time I have ever seen an episode of the original Outer Limits series. The episode was a little slow, but I really liked the look of the alien being. I can imagine that of its time it was rather eerie. Rating: (From Tom's TV Pilots marathon on June 21st, 2012) |
