My Thoughts: In honor of George Reeves' birthday today (Jan. 5th)... I thought that I would check this movie out. I been wanting to see it for quite a while now. Over-all I enjoyed this one. But it wasn't quite as good as I was expecting. It could be because I went into this one with somewhat high expectations. But I found it to run a little slow for my taste, and they made use of flashbacks... which is right for the story they were telling... but I personally always preferred a straight story without flashbacks. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on January 5th, 2013) The Good Witch's Wedding, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Catherine Bell as Cassie Nightingale Chris Potter as Jake Russell Catherine Disher as Martha Tinsdale Peter MacNeill as George O'Hanrahan Matthew Knight as Brandon Russell Elizabeth Lennie as Gwen Plot: Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) has settled comfortably in Middleton with a successful boutique and is now engaged to Police Chief Russell (Chris Potter). But with only two short weeks till Christmas, Jake is desperate to find the perfect gift. With no wedding date set, Jake wants to give Cassie a family for Christmas this year and suggests they get married on Christmas Eve. But, as usual, things don't always happen as planned and Cassie must use a bit of magic to give her new family that special Christmas. Extras:
My Thoughts: Once again this has not yet been released officially on DVD. It is one that I made off my own recording. This sequel is actually known under 2 different titles... The Good Witch's Wedding (as is in the opening credits) and The Good Witch's Gift. It is the third movie in the series. While I still enjoyed this one very much. It wasn't quite as good as the previous two. Almost but not quite. It is a good mixture between a wedding and Christmas storyline. As with the other sequel I hope to see an official release on DVD before too long. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Celebrity of the Week Marathon: Catherine Bell on March 20th, 2012) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: They look like us. They act like us. For centuries vampires have co-existed with humans. Until now. Now mankind has the ability to destroy itself, and the vampires need to take control of their threatened food source. CIB, an elite government force has been formed to combat the threat. But when eternal life is offered, no-one is beyond temptation... Ultraviolet Season 1.01 Habeas Corpus Writer: Joe Ahearne (Writer) Director: Joe Ahearne Cast: Jack Davenport (D.S. Michael Colefield), Susannah Harker (Dr. Angie March), Idris Elba (Vaughan Rice), Philip Quast (Father Pearse J. Harman), Stephen Moyer (Jack), Colette Brown (Kirsty), Fiona Dolman (Frances), Ronnie Letham (Pollard), Marc Bolton (Carter), John Ashton (D S Ferman), Lara J. West (Sue), Blondell Taylor (Nurse), Daniel Moynihan (Street Artist), Colin Kerrigan (Computer Operator), Ian Crowe (Pathologist) As I have just finished watching the third season of "The Vampire Diaries", I thought I would continue with another vampire series. This is a recent blind buy. I was rather bored with the first episode. Though it did show some promise. Rating: (From Tom's TV Pilots marathon on January 4th, 2013) |
