Zombieland, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Zombieland
Year: 2009
Director: Ruben Fleischer
Rating: R
Length: 88 Min.

Stars:
Jesse Eisenberg
Woody Harrelson
Emma Stone
Abigail Breslin
Amber Heard

Plot:
Nerdy college student Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has survived the plague that has turned mankind into flesh-devouring zombies because he's scared of just about everything. Gun-toting, Twinkie-loving Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) has no fears. Together, they are about to stare down their most horrifying challenge yet: each other's company. Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin co-star in this double-hitting, head-smashing comedy.

My Thoughts:
I just finished watching this one on Starz On-Demand. I really enjoyed this one quite a bit. I literally laughed out loud on more then on occasion. While I liked the entire cast... Woody Harrelson made the movie for me. He just played the character perfectly. And I loved where they ended up while in Hollywood... and the whole situation surrounding it (not wanting to spoil it for anyone that may not have seen this yet)... this was just hilarious. I am definitely going to have to add this movie to my collection!

My Rating

My Thoughts:

I have heard mixed reviews of this one... so didn't know what to expect going in. I did find it to be a little darker then I was expecting. But at the same time I enjoyed every minute of it. While I might not be thrilled with the ending...it does have me anxious for the next installment. The storyline kept my attention with ease... the 3hrs went by very fast. I was actually surprised it was over already. I liked the entire cast... thoguht they did a great job casting Wonder Woman. And I loved the little sneak peaks of Aquaman and Cyborg. Definitely one I would recommend... especially if you are already a fan of superhero movies.

Tom's TV Finales marathon, a review by Tom

(United States)
Length:93 min.
Video:Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio:English: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, Japanese: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
Subtitles:English

Plot:
Can they stay together?

What a time for suprises for all the friends! Kaoru and Aoi go on a date together and spend their time reminiscing and enjoying each other's company. The two end up spending the evening at a hotel... Later, the residents of Sakuraba mansion decide to go to a spa resort and Kaoru winds up seeing more than he was meant to! Digital cameras can be so much fun - the gang decides to take some pictures themselves, dressing up in costumes and outfits that turn out to be very fun. Tina then takes a trip back home to America, leaving the rest of the household worried and missing her... will she ever come back?

Ai Yori Aoshi: Enishi
Season 1.12 Kizuna
Writer: Kou Fumizuki (Original Material By)
Director: Katsuichi Nakayama
Cast: Soichiro Hoshi (Kaoru Hanabishi), Ayako Kawasumi (Aoi Sakuraba), Akiko Hiramatsu (Miyabi Kagurazaki), Satsuki Yukino (Tina Foster), Kaori Mizuhashi (Taeko Minazuki), Sayaka Narita (Mayu Miyuki), Haruko Momoi (Chika Minazuki), Kimiko Koyama (Natsuki Komiya), Mamiko Noto (Chizuru Aizawa), Yuka Inoguchi (Uzume), Mami Koyama (Tina's Mom), , Dave Wittenberg, Julie Ann Taylor, Kay Jensen, Kirsty Pape, Lia Sargent, Michelle Ruff, Midge Mayes, Scott Page-Pagter, Sue Beth Arden, Wendee Lee

This episode is more about concluding Tina's storyline (a supporting character), than about the two main characters. I don't remember how much resolve they brought to those two in the previous episodes. But I know it was definately different than the manga ending (which was also still running when this series was produced).
