That looks a shelf full of Collector's Editions! Seriously jealousy inducing stuff right there! And I see you order internationally; I spotted a German edition of Once Upon A Time In The West...

Sammy

Thanks Fasteddie! :)

Haha, yeah, Achim.. I love those collector's editions! :D

Oh, I only order internationally.. Brazil is horrible for special editions!

Since I'll get visitors next week I had to do a basic clean-up of my apartment.

And so I took the opportunity to make new collection pictures. Not much has changed, except that the shelves have become fuller and I had to order my Blu-rays with the DVDs because I didn't have the extra shelf space anymore.

Oh, and I've got a new lamp which looks like a giant light bulb.

Y'know when we show pictures of our collections, it's always as presentable as possible

But for me that's always literally just a snapshot. DVDs are removed from the shelve for watchings, new ones are added and they just build piles until it's cleaning up time again because a relative is coming for a visit.

And when no relative is coming or no photos are taken, it looks like this:

Good to know I am not the only one where it is like this
Though for me it is new arrivals which can be seen lying around until I come around to move them to a shelve. Usually once a DVD gets its space in the shelve, it stays there. And when I watch it again it gets moved back there after.

You have no idea how glad I am to see that I am not the only one with piles ..and piles and piles.

Sure you aren't alone... I have six wallcases who are full since a long time, so all my new DVDs are piled on the top of the wallcase and when they are watched they go on a huge pile next to the case. I have a big plastic box who is full of TV set too...

Someday I will have to get some wallcases, but they will have to be a stackable model as I have no free wall anymore.
