I can't believe this... but I did it again. I just blind bought a short-lived TV series because it was extremely cheap ($8.67 shipped). Hopefully it is a good (even though short lived) series.

Day Break: The Complete Series

Anyone here know of this one??

I watched it when it aired over here(I can't remember how it ended, But seem to think that it did tie up the loose ends but still leave a little if there was a reprieve), I felt that it just got to the point of repetative but then just seemed to kick itself to go slightly off centre and keep things moving.

OK... this sucks. Apparently I have the Mill Creek version of Day Break on the way. and apparently they stuffed all 13 episodes and the special features onto only 2 discs!  :slaphead: With the case being like Booker where it is 2 envelopes in a keep case style case.

It is already on the way to me... so hopefully it won't be too bad of a release. But I must admit... I am a bit worried!

I got my NbN t'other day as well. 50 years old? My good grief on a stick, it's bloody gorgeous.

I never could get into the Prisoner, I bought it for my parents to borrow and have tried watching it a few times, but it just doesn't grab me.
Be interested to know if you feel the quality in blu-ray adds anything to the enjoyment of viewing?

Can't wait to watch mine. Maybe Sunday, otherwise Tuesday, I think.

:phew: I am glad to hear that you seem quite happy that you double-dipped after all...

I kept hearing people saying that it's some sort of cult classic so when I saw it for a, as I felt, good price I grabbed it. To be honest, I have no idea whatsoever what to expect here :bag:

As for the quality, I went by reviews here and they all said that the transfer is quite good.

Dragonfire

This is the first season of Desperate Houswewives I've gotten..I found it on sale and couldn't resist.  I've been planning to get the earlier seasons too.
