Don't know if I'm pleased about this or not.

Yes, because Yvonne Strahovski :drooling: will be back and so will Adam Baldwin  8).
No, because the stories have been a bit crap and lazy.

A day or so after posting that I needed the third season of the show, I found it at Walmart for $15..there was only one copy, so I grabbed it.

Good finale?

Yeah, I'd say so. Lots of callbacks and a bittersweet goodbye.

The one thing I had hoped for wasn't in it though:
In season 3, daddy Bartowski was shoot to death right in front of a Ring regeneration lab that revived Daniel Shaw. I had hoped for one last cameo of Scott Bakula.
I've got the last 2 episodes on  my DVR...along with all sorts of other stuff...it is like 87% full.

I have the last 6 episodes sitting there waiting for me. The wife and I are going to have a Chuck-a-thon this weekend.

I'm sad to see it go but happy they knew it was going to end. Hopefully they were able to write a story line that wraps everything up nicely for those of us who were faithful watchers from the beginning.

Achim

I heard somebody mention that the wrapped it up nicely.

I haven't seen a single episode so far, but seeing how everyone seems to love it I'll get it once it's available as Complete Series set...

The last two episodes contain loads of callbacks to earlier moments and especially to the pilot episode.

For example (nothing spoiler-y): They enter a Wienerlicious in Berlin, Germany and Chuck remarks that it looks exactly like the Wienerlicious where Sarah worked in the first season.

I watched the last two episodes.  They were good and dealt with most of the stuff pretty good I think.  Though I wasn't as happy about one thing.

Let me guess:
Sarah's memories? They will come back, I'm convinced of it. She already remembered some stuff during these last two episodes and even if the kiss doesn't work, she will regain her memories. I'm convinced of it. And if not, she still has Chuck. It's a bit like 50 First Dates.
You are right.  Hmm...have I become that predictable?
I feel like she is going to remember too...but I wanted to see it happen. And I know she did start to remember a few things...and even saw the video log things that showed her talking about falling in love with Chuck.  I guess after everything they've been though, I just wanted a more ...definite happy ending for them.  They were so happy together and then for her to forget everything.  Well...it sucks.  But at least she is remembering stuff from day to day.  I'm gad that guy who did that to her got killed.  Oh he made me mad.
The Complete Series set was on sale not too long ago, so I wanted to know what the fuzz is about and purchased it.

Oh boy, what a weird show. It's a very mixed bag for me. I have watched up to the middle of season 2.

I highly enjoy many of the interactions at the Buy More, especially Big Mike, and Adam Baldwin is great too. Chuck himself is where it gets weird. I find his comedic moments incredibly funny, but once he does all that stupid stuff getting himself in danger I just want to slap him.

The worst part of the show is the love story, oh myyy. Is that labored... Most of the time I just wish they'd get on with it ether way. But it seems like every other episode they are get almost together and then "break up". It appears in season 2 they figured out that it's not working so they gave Chuck a reason to be less hung up on Sarah. It's better since then.

The story's are of course extremely contrived. One must begin to wonder of all of world's spy activity happen around that one Buy More :headscratch:

Ellie is rather annoying, actually, probabaly because her acting is rather bad. I am not a big fan of Morgan either. But Awesome is, well, awesome.

All in all I will keep etching, because most episodes have several good laugh in it, which is actually pretty good, I guess.

Tom

After season 2, it gets better with Chuck because of what happens to him in the season 2 finale. Also I enjoyed the romance, but maybe it was of the later seasons. It has been awhile since I saw the early seasons.

Achim

Yeah, i fortgot to say, that it seems this series in general needed to find its footing for quite some time. Which you just confirmed to me.

But then, I think my somewhat harsh opinion is surely not representative.
