Hi,

I just watched the last episode of the second season of Chuck. It was indeed a "game changing" episode. Unfortunately it doesn't look as if Chuck will see a third year (the ratings dropped and dropped) and the episode ended in a "to be continued...". But even if it ends this way, I could live with it. Sure, I'd really like a third season, but at least it was some kind of ending (and begin of something new).

Let's hope for the best, though.

The first season is currently available for 12 pounds at amazon.co.uk and I was thinking about buying it. The problem is, that I have seen the first two episodes so far and they didn't really convince me to watch further. Does it get better?

DJ Doena

Define "better". What did you not care about and I will tell you if it will change.

I don't know. It's hard to say. I didn't find it particularly funny, and also for a serious story not much was happening.
Would you say, that the first two episodes are representive for the general style of the series?

Pretty much, yes. Of course Chuck's and Sarah's relationship is developing and the supporting cast develops, too. But in principle Chuck flashes on something, they have a mission and they will defeat the bad guys.

It will also unfold how deep Chuck was already in this before the Intersect landed in his head.

I think the problem was, that they didn't touch much on Chuck's new abilities in the first two episodes. At least as far as I can remember.

I was excited as well when I read of Chuck's return. I just hope they don't ruin it. They are bringing it back for only 13 episodes with a much smaller budget. The 13 episodes are OK (13 are better than none) but the reduced budget doesn't sound good. Add to that they have scheduled it for the dreaded Friday night which is always a poor night for ratings.

Hopefully it will do great and get renewed for a full season the following year. It's one of the best shows on TV these days.

I still haven't seen any of this...I might try to watch some online to see how I like it.

Today Chucks starts into its third season with two episodes and tomorrow they air a third. Which means I am going to watch the last few episodes of season two again (from the moment
Chuck finds his father
on)
