A guy at work uses the same gym as this boxer and showed me this video, which is hilarious. Meanwhile it's getting a good response on YouTube. He'll never live it down!

Interesting video, but IMHO boxing is a barbarian "sport" what appeals to the lowest instincts of human being! SCNR!

Thanks to the TV series Skins (UK, as now regrettably has to be added) I discovered British folk singer Laura Marling. Not entirely my thing, but a couple of songs I like very much and the same goes for her approach to music videos.

Is a Hope was the song used in Skins 4x07 Effy.

Devil's Spoke music video. Great song with a little more conventional woman-in-landscape video, but quite beautiful.

New Romantic music video. Very minimalistic setting, but the shadow play is brilliant.

I'm not a huge fan of Folk, but I do like this one from Laura...

Folk seems to be making a bit of a comeback here. Mainly thanks to Mumford and Sons. I think acts like Laura appeared after they broke through from the festivals...

The Clay Pigeon Golf Shot

Fake?  :hmmmm:

Najemikon

I reckon it's real. no reason why not, the clay is predictable and the golfer adaptable to a fine enough level to let a touch of luck complete the deal...

Kathy

I think this might even be easier than getting a hole in one.

Ok, found this, peoples needs to see this!!  :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

So, this dude runs a "Ask a Superhero" vid series starring Spider-Man. Why is this particular one so funny? Well, you see, he was asked a particular question.....about babies.....

I think I just found my favourite game reviewer! No technical shenanigans, no comparing this and that console, no bitching about graphics quality or whatnot.

It only answers this very simplest of questions ....

Is, the game, fun?

Dragon Age Origins (Dragon Age II is out in 2 weeks!!  :yahoo:)

Mass Effect 2

Fallout: New Vegas

You discovered Mark from Classic Game Room...? I have been following his reviews for quite some time now. One or two games I bought because of him.

Be careful though, I finds good things in almost every game and his reviews can tend to sound very enthusiastic, even though other reviewers might agree the game is not so good. Just watch a bunch (which you apparently did already) and measure his taste against yours first.

95% of the time I just love that 5-10s bit he chooses to place within the opening titles.

I find I usually like the first 3-4 minutes of his review. That's where he says pretty much everything he has to say. I do find him a bit overenthusiastic, but I like it that way. I'm easy to please too, so.. ;)

Have you guys ever seen Zero Punctuation? He's quite rude, very rarely likes any games well enough to recommend them, but can be very funny and the videos have a style about them. I think he liked Minecraft...

Yeah, I like him too but ... he speaks way too fast for me! Half the time, I don't understand a word he's saying  :bag:

cool, I personally prefer gamersbeware's vids for 3 reasons, in case your interested.  :D

1) as you stated, he just goes over the 1 question of it being fun
2) its not only a review but also a walkthrough if you want to see how its done, see certain parts ahead of time, see the action before you buy, etc
3) he always makes it funny! the best demo of this, I believe, is "Let's Co-Op Play: Nicktoons Unite!" where he teams up playing with a friend and there's arguments, interruptions, it's live play time. something goes wrong and its just plain funny. Just like you and a bud play video games for the night. I remember one  piece of diolgue between him and his friend.

"Enough with the ghostly wail already!!"

"I can't help it, i'm......I'm a ghost....."

"Yeah? Well, I'm a ten year old boy with fairy godparents, just get your butt over here!!" lol!!
