Damn that I would have known, too. The german title was "Die Himmelhunde von Boragora" ("The air dogs of Boragora").

It was about two guys and a seaplane set in the south pacific. The time has to be around WW2.

More I can't remember.

The only episode I remember anything about had something to do with a curse and an Egyptian mummy, scared me at the time as I was watching it on my own, but I suspect it won't have the same affect now.

$130 is about £70.00 which is the usual price you'd be charged for a tv show, in the shops over here.

These are not official releases, they would be vhs or tv converts so poor quality. I got suckered in to something similar with the Beverly Hillbillies and Sgt Bilko sets 

According to Universal there are no official releases for this series yet on dvd
