Although I have no idea what's going on with The Newsroom.

Usually ordering one item (no matter one movie, one season, one complete box) you pay 3.99 for the shipping itself and 2.49 for each item = $6.48.

Everytime I try to order The Newsroom, I get shipping costs of almost $30!

A friend talked me into going to Walmart last night to check on some of the movies...we went last year too. 
I was....not happy about the decision at first..but we did manage to find a few good movies.  And I was persistent with going through the movies - they had them in this box type shelf things..so I was digging back through them and I found the last 2 copies of Monsters University..one for each of us.  So that made me happy.  I didn't really think we'd be able to find that movie before we got there..so that was good.  He was hoping to find a few others and I found one of the last copies of Les Miserables for him too.. We did decently I think.

There were a lot of people there, but it was already thinned out a bit when we got there.  The big stuff - tvs, tablets, video game systems - went on sale before we got there.  The movies were supposed to be part of what they called the 6:00 event..it was almost 9 when we got there...which is why I didn't think we had much of a chance for the ones we were looking for. 

I read a story online this evening...2 women got in a fight at a mall in Philadelphia and one of them used a taser on the other one..after they beat the crap out of each other.  Nothing is worth that nonsense.  I like this time of year and I like getting presents for people.  However...I don't like having to deal with the complete and utter assholes that take over the stores this time of year.  I do some of the shopping online..makes things easier.

I was even alone to check the movie garbage box because I don't have enough film already, but I got nothing because I hate wasting my time going trough them... it would be so much easier to put some order in those box in place of dumping the movies in a complete mess...
