Got another update! Rick will be leaving the hospital today as soon as the paperwork is complete. I think that's at least a day earlier than expected!

I am out of the hospital already and sitting in a hotel room resting comfortably. They have to do some labs over the next week to make sure the pituitary gland is functioning properly. Then I go home. I will probably be here for about 10 days.

It was less than 48 hours from the recovery room to release. Absolutely  freggin amazing if you ask me. I get terrible headaches about every 4-6 hours but the pain pills are keeping them in check. Pretty weak but wanted to pop in and say HI and thanks again for all the well wishes. It's great to know people are pulling for you.

I planned on watching some christmas movies while I recover but we left them at home.  There's a best buy right across the street though so all is not lost! 

Welcome back Rick! I am so glad to hear you are out of the hospital. Hopefully the headaches will lessen but be sure and take your meds as needed - pain wrecks havoc on the body and its immune system. Rest and take good care of yourself - my thoughts and good wishes are with you.
