[whatyagot=www.dvdalistic.com/phpdvdprofiler/]738329038328[/whatyagot]

Then these 2 are the shortest
[whatyagot=www.dvdalistic.com/phpdvdprofiler/]013131243895[/whatyagot]

Regarding the Thomas Edison films, well, movies back then started short and eventually got longer.  I do have the Edison Studios version of Frankenstein...from around 1910...I think it's about 13 minutes long.  And I have many shorts...The Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, Charley Chase, etc.  And I also have cartoons...Warner Brothers, Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, etc.  You didn't ask what the shortest "feature films" we own are.  If we went that route, I have many around the 1-hour mark, some probably down into 50-some minutes.

Najemikon

The shortest feature film I have is Christmas in July (Preston Sturges boxset entry) at 67 minutes! Wonderful film too. Actually it's tied with Frankenstein...

Actually, that's my shortest too, but somehow it is listed as TV series on IMDb and I import that classification.

It's neither nor. It was conceived as web series in 3 parts which were released in 3 weeks IIRC. I still consider it a movie due to it's length.

My John Wayne movies are definitely the shortest most are just over 40 minutes. after that is probably some of the Disney sequel films or Lilo and Stitch.

Rogmeister

Those John Wayne movies must either be edited or time-compressed.  I don't recall him ever making any that clocked in at under 50 minutes.

Achim

I also own the 9min long Staplerfahrer Klaus (on it's own DVD!).

The shortest feature are Revelations, a Star Wars fan film (downloaded the ISO and burned the DVD), with 47min and Forgotten Silver (52min), a mockumentary.
