Have you decided what your first movie will be yet Jimmy?
The Curse of Lizzie Borden 1 & 2 ;D

You forgot to add in there The Sorority... but I am sure you will get to it since you want to watch all low-budget horror this year... right Jimmy?... Jimmy?... Yo Jimmy! You still there with me?
Of course not
I'm not sure if I will watch Abe's Tomb, Hell's Highway, The Irrefutable Truth About Demons or Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis (I'm probably one of the few who think it's the better one after the original)[

On Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis... I wouldn't say better then the original...as I really like it. But it is good... and much better then Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave!
Just bought the last one to complete the serie and after trying to watch it 4 times my only comment is :

:yucky: isn't enough for this poor excuse for a movie

And yes I will watch only low budget horror. Already selected some that I've previously watch in my collection like Camp Blood, Within the Woods and Zombiegeddon

addicted2dvd

I almost bought Camp Blood a couple of times.

DAMN! that Val Lewton set has went up 3 times since I put it in my amazon cart. At this point I still plan on getting it... but hopefully it won't go up any more then it is now... or better yet... let it go back down a little!

I hate when that happens.  There have been a few times when I've been thinking of getting something and see it at one price there.  By the time I go to order it - sometimes just a hour or so later, the price has jumped.

addicted2dvd

DAMN! it just jumped up again... this time up to $42.99... If it don't drop down some between now and next Friday I am not sure I will be able to get it this time around.  :(

I think that's about what I paid, so hopefully it's just crept up to a regular price. The buggers.  :(

Dragonfire

That really sucks.  :(

I had been going to get the first season of True Blood..I checked the price like the day after it came out and it was down to $24 I think it was.  I needed to take care of a few other things first and then I decided to go back and order it..just a few hours later..and it was back up to $36.  I was not happy..and I didn't order it then.  I'll just wait and hope for another sale.

Some of the sales last a decent amount of time, but some of the prices change so quick..it's annoying.

Najemikon

At least it's clear. HMV are sods for advertising at one price, but when it goes in the basket, it's higher. I complained and got some guff about "allocated sale stock", but I still think it stinks their website isn't in real-time...

addicted2dvd

I haven't given up hope yet... October is coming... and wouldn't be surprised if it don't go back on sale. Or maybe enough of the others go on sale so I can still afford it! :P

Just tell yourself that you can always buy it ;D
In my case I was thinking (in fact more than that) to add the last Fiona Horsey's movie missing in my collection. You already know how I have already appreciated her acting in Angst and Twisted Sisters before. So I have waited and waited and waited... now it's oop like the other 2.

If I want it, I must buy it used and the price at Amazon.ca is way too high (CDN$ 46.95), the price at Amazon is good but they charged US$ 12,29 for the international shipping (this is stupid, but they make no distinction between the Canada and the European country in marketplace). The region 2 version that I prefer because of the cover is not too high (£6.37) and the shipping rate is relativelly abordable (£3.08), of course if I would have bought it last year the price would have been only £2.98...

BTW this is the film I talk about

Damn! There is a great list of extras included in that 2 disc Day of the Dead... does extras on a horror DVD count as watching horror?  :P
Pete

Jimmy

Yes :P
Unless they are the commentary track and you close your eyes

But he would still hear the horror related stuff.
Though..wait...I guess he just said he wouldn't watch horror till October.
