That reminds me of my trip to Paris, approx., *gulp*, 28 years ago. At that time cameras still used film and I was happily taking pictures of Sacre Coeur, the Eiffel Tower and other things. Only when I reached the 40th picture of the 36 picture roll did I get suspicious and opened up the camera to inspect the situation. To my horror I had to see that I had inserted the film improperly and the gear hadn't slipped into the wholes of the film roll, hence not a single picture had been taken (or all in one...)

Eric has truly left us. I was going to send him a quick note and...he isn't even a member anymore. 

Going on a bit of a hiatus myself. Not giving up my membership though.  Just have a bad taste in my mouth at the moment for everything DVD related.

Maybe I'll take up  again.
