DVD Collectors Online

I didn't know where else to put this so...

Is anyone else having problems posting? Every since I couldn't get on earlier today... Every time I post something after I click the Post button it just hangs there and doesn't move. I end up having to wait a few minutes... and then click on one of the links to be sure my post went through. So far it has always went through... but never goes to the next page once I hit the post button.

Yes, I have the same problems today. I thought it was my internet connection, which usually acts up.

I was thinking the same thing... but I normally have no problems with my connection... that is why I thought I would ask. Thanks

The site was dead around 12.30pm (proper UK time... ). And it is posting instantly, but not refreshing the page. I've been clicking post then running the homepage again in a new tab which shows it appeared, while the first page is still ticking over...

I'm having the same problem. A bit of an annoyance but I've seen websites acting up much more than this.

Well I am at least glad to know it is not just me!

I just posted a useless comment in the "Another satisfied customer" thread and I had the same problem.  I didn't wait, just hit the Esc key and then refreshed the thread and my post was there.

Strange, I wish I could help Karsten here but I've never experienced this with SMF before so I don't know what it could be.

This morning, before the short blackout, the site started giving me database connections errors, saying it could be too busy. Might be a problem with the hosting and not with the site itself.

Hopefully that is all it is... I also noticed I didn't get a single e-mail notification about replies since either.

sorry, I was away the whole day. First sightseeing in Heidelberg, then we were eating Tarte flambée in the Alsace.

My provider has sent me an e-mail declaring an hardware failure. They've replaced the entire server, thus the downtime.

My post that shows up on the home page as being posted at 3:37 is still "loading" 10 minutes later on another tab.
