I rented to BR movies, one for this afternoon and one for tonight.  I want to keep the best one for tonight, which one is it, Quantum of Solace or The Dark Knight ?

Tom

"The Dark Knight" definately.

Well, the rule I follow is, if there's a "Y" in the day of the week, the best film to watch would be The Dark Knight.  ;)

Quantum is great fun too, but The Dark Knight is special and I'm looking forward to you posting an "I didn't see what all the fuss was about. Is this film really British?" review... :tease:

I wasn't aware I made the reputation of being generally negative, I thought I was pretty open-minded actually......I guess it's never too late to discover something new about one self.

That said.....you Jon gave The Dark Knight 5/5 so I'm a bit worried now  :tease:

That's what I meant! You are open-minded, unless you hit play thinking, "Jon said this was alright..." then somehow, it all goes wrong!

I was only kidding Jon..........and for the record I don't dislike all british movies.........ok so I can't remember one I liked right now at this very moment but there's a few.............I think

Najemikon

Well, hey, you liked Casino Royale, and we Brits can at least have a moral claim on the Bond movies!

Why is it that I don't have to check the link to know where it would take me had I not so much of a life to actually want to click it ?

I'm very afraid that Dark Knight is the better one, but I haven't seen QoS yet.

I am late to the party, but since Eric hasn't posted the result yet I'll add that my preference would be DK as well.

I haven's seen QoS yet but from the reviews I read and heard I'll assume that it might be a good film, maybe not even, but it can not reach Dark Knight on any day of the week.

I watched both movies on saturday, started with QOS in the afternoon and kept DK for the evening.  I enjoyed both movies but I agree with most of you that DK is the better one.

Really enjoyed both movies.
