Gotta remember that one...

QuoteWishing every one a safe xmas and a 'merry' festive period.
Same to you, Rich! Hope you get well soon.

I don't go nowhere for Christmass (except for the 25), but a lot of you will not be there tomorrow :

Have a nice Christmass time with your familly and friends...

And if you had been very naughty this year, you are very lucky she waits to punish you

Better than the naked Santa

I am back - and still alive. ;)

I started from Berlin yesterday morning at 9.45 am. The travel went very well, it was very few traffic as I had hoped. I had hoped to be at home at around 4 - 4.30 pm (730km / 450mi distance between Berlin and Herxheim). But then north of Frankfurt my front left tyre blew when I was driving at 170km/h (105mph) on most left lane. Ay, caramba! But luckily I could pull over and come to a halt without anything happening.

Then I drove to the next garage on my emergency tyre and had the next problem: The tyre size is quite unusual and he could get two new ones (I replaced both front tyres) not until tomorrow (today).

So I called a friend (I used to live near Frankfurt) and asked if I could sleep over at his house. He agreed and we had a nice evening and a nice day with his family today until I got my car at 3 pm and could finally drive home. :)

I never doubted you make it back alive. The real question is (after spending the holidays with family): How much weight did you put on

But seriously, nice to see all went (mostly) well and you have returned safely.

Could you be any more of a rom-com Christmas cliche?  :hysterical:

If it helps, I am still fighting my cat allergy even after being 3 days without contact to any. ;)

Having some issues I have to get worked out (you know having a tumor in your head can really suck ). I'll not be around for who knows how long. I'll miss this place but hopefully whem I get things worked out I'll be back. Maybe even review a movie or two and get on the home page

Talk soon.
