Stupid question time : Can I have the 2 version on my computer at the same time?

This version is not yet compatible with PHPDVDP and don't want to mess my online collection, but the new addition to 3.5 look interesting for what I've read.

The new phpDVDProfiler should also be released any day now. I have a preliminary version running and it shows no bugs.

I assume Fredlocks has to change only the MediaDistributorWhatever field which has been renamed in the XML during the final beta releases.

Thanks for the info. I will wait for the release of the new php version before installing the new version. Hoping that I will not have to much difficulty for intalling it on my online ftp. The first time was really complicated for me and without Eric I don't think I could have make it right. Since he is really busy right now I don't think that he have the same free time to help me.

I'm sure to get all the help I need here if I've some difficulty. The difference with Eric is the fact that he can work dirrectly on my website, since it is on his server, so I don't have to understand the problem

Technically, the only hard part to updating to a new release (usually) with phpdvdprofiler, is to update the database schema. Otherwise, it's simply a question of uploading the new php files, overwiting the existing ones (at least, that's how I've done it before, and it always worked)

The database will update itself when you process a new collection file after you've uploaded the new version.

Some minor glitches but basically it works.

sounds an awful lot like 3.1, 3.0, 2.4, 2.3, 2.2, etc. before it
