Can a French speaker please explain...

Le Pére Noel est une Ordure

It is from the film Mixed Nuts, but my business French makes the translation seem non-sensicle??  :hmmmm:
Ordure I always thought meant filth  ???

Touti

Ordure = Garbage

However, in france (hardly in Quebec), when referring to a person "Ordure" can also mean bastard, scum etc.  There wouldn't be a single word english word for it but it generally means a bad person.

So, what would be the translated original title of the book that Mixed Nuts is from?

Father Christmas is a Bastard??

That would be a very literal translation.  "Santa Claus is a bastard" would be more like it.

Is this from a series of films, similar to the Django films?
