Plot:

My Review:
Well, this was one was a complete blind buy. Hadnt heard about it or anything. The only reason i bought this was the big names in it. And it starts of real good and strong. But after 30 minutes in, the movie starts to slow down. And after that most of the things goes a bit to slow for my taste. I can appreciate what they tried to do with the movie but with that great cast i think they could just have done a bit more. But even with that being said, the movie had its moments here and there. Just not the greatest movie i've seen. I guess if you find it for a cheap penny, check it out. If not, skip it.

Piffi, as for 'World War Z' ... yeah i think I really agree with you on this.  I enjoyed it ... but there CGI really seemed over the top.  The motion of the Zombies, when in a group, seemed really too fast.  I found the story interesting (except the nagging/weak? wife).  Liked trying to find 'Subject Zero'.  So though I have seen it 1 in theater (too expensive for that) and then on blu-ray (found a cheap one) a couple of times ... wont be the most watched.

Plot:

My Review:
So, this movie got alot of hype in the Norwegian media. And here in Norway its a "bigtime movie" with alot of big Norwegian names in it. And its based on a true story about the start of our oil and gas adventure in Norway. And they put us trough a real interesting and intense story! And it was real cool to see how it "all started" and the big names in the movie did a good job aswell. Thats not always the case in some of the Norwegian movies. But this was great from start to finish. I highly recommand you Norwegians out there to watch it. Or if you just like a good intense suspence\thriller you should check it out. And for a rather cheap prize you get some real good extras too!

Plot:
Hans Petter (Nicolai Cleve Borch) er nyrekruttert undercover politimann i URO-patruljen, med en lysende karriere foran seg. Hans Petter ser kun kjappe og harde løsninger i alle situasjoner, og han risikerer både sitt eget og kollegaenes liv for å oppnå resultater i jobben. Hun vet mer om HPs bakgrunn enn han selv liker. HP vikler seg inn i et nettverk av løgner på begge sider av loven, samtidig som han kun prøver å rette opp og gjøre det riktige. Han tar saken i egne hender og grensene for rett og galt forflyttes, han mister kontroll og det eneste som er igjen å returnere til, er det han kommer fra.

My Review:
Another allright Norwegian movie. Havent seen it in a few years, and after seing the other Norwegian movie earlier today i wanted to check this out again. Its a cool action\thriller. And the story in the movie is about a undercover cop who suddenly goes dirty and whatever he does he makes a mess out of everything. And its a thrilling ride they put us trough and you just have to see how it will end! Recommanded for you Norwegians out there!

Plot:

My Review:
Well, despite what people thinks i really enjoyed this one. A cool story with a interesting twist. And they kinda keep you guessing. Its a real suspenceful and intense thriller actually. You kinda know what will happen but again, your not really sure. This was just two hours of great fun on a rather snowy Sunday. For me this is highly recommanded to check out!

I fully agree with you.  I really enjoyed this one.  I thought the story line is good and crisp.  Acting was very good.  Very good watch.

I enjoyed it quite a lot, too. I've liked Liam Neeson since I saw him in Dead Pool. He seldom disappoints.

I saw it in the theater.  I enjoyed it overall.

Yep, you guys was correct. (as always!) I really enjoyed the first 'Cars' but this one wasnt any good. Unfortunatly. The story didnt have anything to do with the first movie. And the story was boring. And some annyoing characters. I hoped i would be surprised, but i wasnt. Unfortunatly this is not recommanded to check out! Leave it with the first one!

So the question is - will "Planes" be the same disappointment? It's the first Pixar movie that I am considering passing up. As I wish I had done with "Cars 2".

Here the only reason why this movie was talked about is the fact that Joannie Rochette did one of the plane voice in the french canadian dub (all the film advertising campaign was base on this). It did  1 261 434 $ at our box-office wich is a flop for a film like that...

If "Planes" wouldn't come from Pixar but from a different studio, it would only be talked about as a rip-off.
In fact that's exactly what it is. "Cars 3: Now we fly"
And as with all sequels, they are to be avoided if the original cast is ashamed of appearing in it.

Planes is not a Pixar film. It comes from DisneyToons.

Ahh, this explains it then.
Taking a look at their filmography they, in fact, are the rip-off department of Disney, specialized on sequels no one wants to see. At least no one above the age of 6.

Nevertheless Disney isn't exactly doing its best to avoid the impression that Planes and Cars are coming from the same studio. The German release even has the "Cars"-logo printed on it.

Uhm, i just watched the trailer of 'Planes' and i'm not convinced! Looked just like Cars with Planes. I'm not in any hurry to get it.
