DVD Collectors Online

I got playing on my computer a little this morning... made my first ever video. I wanted episode promos for the TV Show DVDs I have. Since there is multiple episodes per disc... usually 4 episodes per disc for an hour long show... I had to combine them into 1 video. My plan was to make and store them on my hard drive and then point the trailer button in profiler to the file. I uploaded the first one I made to Youtube just show I could show it to you all in the forums... see if this is something that any of you would want shared.

I just did one for Supernatural: Season 1 Disc 1. Remember this is my first ever attempt... I am sure I will get better at it with practice. 


Unfortunately in the case of Supernatural the first few episode promos had clips from multiple episodes. But the episode 4 promo will give you a good idea what to usually expect.

anyway... is this something people would want for their profiles? If so I don't mind sharing my work as I get it done.

Keep in mind I can only do this for disc I can find the promo clips for. There may be times when I can only find enough promos to do some of the discs in the set.

I will definitely have to play around with this some more. Can't seem to use the trailer button for videos stored on my hard drive?

That is sad if local files cannot be used.

Cool idea, but I admit I would not use it for myself.

They can be used... I thought I remembered it being a check box... but the option was in the lower dropdown menu. But I ended up putting an icon for My Links in my tool bar... been accessing the promos from there... that way I don't have to put them all together in one file.
