Lets hope.. :) And i think England will win this one actually. 2-0.. First cup in a long time England got no pressure. I think that will be good for them.

Cracking first half. Good refereeing, good football from both teams and two good goals to make it 1-1 at halftime. France have the edge, but England are having so nice little runs. Like I said earlier, Young sliding behind Chamberlain is working well. Milner missed an open goal but then Hart made a cracking save from a header right in front of him. Nasri's goal was good, but Hart will be disappointed he didn't save it.

This could go either way.

I thought Euro was a monetary unit.  :tease:

Finished 1-1. A good result for England IMO, though the referee was a bit dodgy in the second half. Still, I think they impressed overall. No media pressure, they were relaxed, confident going forward, held the back line very well. Good good.

Piffi

A good result for England. Think they wast the best team in the first  half. And France the best in the 2nd. And the ref didnt exactly help England in the 2nd half. Alot of weird descisions. Against England. Think this will be a good Euro for England.

Exactly!
Now ask yourself why Poland and the Ukraine got it this time.

Jimmy

Because there were an urge to show reckless fan behaviour? Because the Ukrainian prostitution economic force needed a boosting? Because Ukraine is a model of democraty? Because they are rich country?

Seriously I can't find a reasonable reason to present a big sporting event there (even if I ain't a soccer fan at all). Sound to me like doing the Olympics at a Somalian city...

Portugal Denmark is a cracker so far. Shame to see the violence yesterday with over 200 arrested though.

By the way, the rights in the UK for the Premier League have just been sold for 2013-2014 season and 2014-2015 season. Sky are paying £3,018,000,000 to show 232 games, a new record. Seriously, that is £13million per game or about $20m. Which other league in the world in any sport manages to get bidding that crazy?

Fun game so far. ;) lets get some more goals in the second half.. Maby one by Ronaldo ;) And let me just say WOW. Thats alot of money for the PL, but i guess its worth it tho. Since its the most popular league in the 'world' :D

That was a cracker. I want Holland to win now to put all teams in group B on 3 points before the final game.

That would be something! But unfortunatly i think Germany is going to win the match easy. To much fighting etc in the Holland team i think. And a coach that is not popular with the players etc. But if Holland lose today, i think they are out.

And a couch that is not popular with the players
From the press conference after the game I'd say the coach doesn't like his team neither.

I want van Basten back!
At least he was on a good way to teach the Netherlands modern football again.
Only 20 minutes of this game the Dutch team showed it's former greatness, and this were the first 10 and the 2 before and 8 after their goal. This too were the 20 minutes when Germany was in trouble.
