I just found out in my next box of movies I will be getting....

Wolf Creek
Welcome to Wolf Creek, where the suspense of The Blair Witch Project meets the horror of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Inspired by Australia's ''Backpacker Killer'' who murdered seven backpackers in the '90s, Wolf Creek won wide acclaim from critics, filmmakers and audience members alike at the Sundance Film Festival.

Three unsuspecting hikers take off for a drive across Australia. When the trio returns from a four-hour hike to Wolf Creek National Park, they find their car is dead. Help comes in the form of big, back-slapping bushman Mick (John Jarratt). Since Mick appears to be more Crocodile Dundee than Freddy Krueger, the trio trusts him...which proves to be a grave mistake.

Well... that's not good. But I'm not going to worry yet. There is many movies out there I liked that (seems like) everyone else hates. After all... I am the one that liked Omen: The Awakening.... remember?  :tease:

I thought Wolf Creek was above average. A slow burner, builds up the tenseness well but not without faults. I gave it a 3.5/5.

Jimmy, you'll be pleased to know a sequel is in the works.

Kathy

Sorry Jimmy but I don't agree with you on this one. I thought this was a pretty good movie.

The story was realistic, the characters believable and the bad guy is charmingly evil.

uh-oh more people seem to like it then don't... maybe I am in trouble!  Nah.... I like most everything! :tease:

I don't disagree Kathy, but the annoying kids ruined all of this for me. I think I wrote it in my reviews but I was rooting for Mick because I wanted to see those idiots killed :D

Sure I am as the film as a lot of potential on paper if they can do it with something else than douchebags and unlikable characters.

If I was caught with people like this I would pray for a killer to appear

Or you could just crack and be the killer.

Me a killer? No chance at all... even my sister can beat me in a fight :-[

But she fights dirty with her foot, at least she was when we were younger

First.... a little bad news. My father-in-law (Brittany's grandfather) passed away this past week. So we had a funeral to go to today. Which is why you haven't seen many posts from me today. When I got home there was a message waiting for me... entitled Christmas in June. This message was from a dear friend of mine. One of the sweetest people to walk the Earth. She told me that she wouldn't be able to do Christmas this year due to things out of her control... so she wanted to send me a present now while she still could. Telling me to watch for a package.  ;D
