Director's shortlist was rumoured to be George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau), F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job), and Anthony and Joseph Russo (Welcome to Collinwood) but F. Gary Gray has dropped out to film a biopic on NWA called Straight Outta Compton.

I know some here really dug the first, I thought it was one of Marvel's more average films to date.

I really enjoyed it. Expected little and it definitely is Marvel's weakest, but still, it was fun and unassuming. I had to laugh at spotting The Vicar of Dibley's husband playing a Nazi spy!
