25 days till Christmas ;D

So to get in the mood I'll use this thread to post one Christmas song everyday.

I start with Mel & Kim and Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree who was recorded in 1986 for a special cause. Of course Kim is Kim Wilde and I don't think it's necessary to say I was always a great fan of her ;D

Jimmy

Something canadian today ;D

This one was part of my disc collection back in the days, I think it was the B side of Everything in my Heart. By the way this is a pretty nice live rendering of the song recorded at Ottawa in 1985.

Jimmy

Another good one from a benefit Christmas album released in 1987. From a big star of the eighties and a singer I was a big fan of.

Jimmy

Something more classic today. The sound isn't too good, but it's the best one I was able to find...

Jimmy

I was searching for something else by Jan and Dean for today, but I can't find it. So as an alternative I've choose to go with The Beach Boys, I don't like them as much but they will do.

Jimmy

Two for the price of one today ;D
But don't get too excited as it's the same song (Jingle Bells Rock by Hall and Oates) but two versions were recorded...

The first one with John Oates doing the lead vocal

The second one and the most known with Darryl Hall doing the lead vocal

Jimmy

An original canadian song from Bryan Adams when he was the greatest canadian music performer (before he start to produce boring by the book music). It came as a cool red disc ;D

and why not post the B-side too

Since I forgot again yesterday... Another two for one

and this is the only song from that kind of singer you will get from me, no Celine Dion from me :yucky:

But I have to confess I've bought all the Mariah Carey's album untill Butterfly. She lost me when hip-hop singers started to appear on her album. This is the only kind of music I can't stand, this genre is so ridiculously stupid...

Jimmy

Good lord I forgot a day again... I'm no good at those everyday thing

So another one from my corner of the earth.
