I will use it as dvd reader since I don't have the TV to go with it and I don't think it will look good on my TV. I got the Vampire Circus (DVD/BR Combo) today, maybe I will check how a BR looks on my set later...

I continue to not be the biggest BR fan, but the reader cost me only 88$ and some money.
But more important : I will be able too to blame Jon if I buy a BR

Ok..I just couldn't resist a little teasing there. :)

And blaming Jon works wonderfully. :D  It is all his fault.
I may even find a way to blame him for me getting hooked on Doctor Who. lol
Oh, I'll take the blame for that!  I might even manage to turn you to Primeval, which comes back on this weekend...
Why are so many people using spoilers in this thread? I guess I will to. I don't want to stand out.
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

..... Not wanting to hijack a thread or anything

But I thought it got cancelled?  :stars:

It did, which was a very odd decision. But it got rescued by another company who took over production. It's back on Saturday and Sunday. I heard a rumour there would be an American spin-off ages ago. Not sure if that's still on the cards.
Being a big opponent of the BR format I didn't want to say it too obviously. There is no secret behind those tags...
I just used the spoiler tags because Jimmy did.

I forgot to mention this earlier...you have now publicly accepted the blame for getting me hooked on Doctor Who..and that includes the blame for when I get the DVD sets - cause there is no way I won't get them with how much I love the show.  You are also blamed for Torchwood since it is a Doctor Who spin off.  You can't deny this later.  Nope.  It is all your fault.

Heck, I should blame you for me getting Sherlock too...it is another BBC show after all. :)

I saw that Primeval was going to be on Saturday night after the Doctor Who marathon.  I remember thinking that show might be interesting before..but, I think the Doctor Who marathon is going to overload my DVR as it is.

Najemikon

Ooh you should definitely record Primeval... :tease:

I seriously don't know if my DVR will have room.  It is set for like 30 + hours of Doctor Who..not to mention the stuff that is still saved on there.

I need a bigger DVR.

Primeval is great. I was delighted to see the DVD set for the fourth season for pre-order. So I am a little surprised now, that it is actually still showing. The release at Amazon is shown as February 21...

Najemikon

That's fairly normal for a British show with a shorter run than a US one. The series will have finished by that time, so they'll be able to advertise it during the credits.

Dragonfire

My DVR is like 80% full and there is still ..hmm..at least 12 more hours of Doctor Who set to record.  I'm not recording all of the fifth season because I've seen some of them recently.
