Diedrich Bader is the voice of Batman in the new animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold in which he teams up with different heroes in every episode.  I have Season 1: Volume 1 of that.  That's probably all I have of him.  Ava Gardner was a beautiful actress but I can't think of any of her films that I own.

Today is also my eldest brother's birthday. He turned 53 today.

Sissy Spacek I have in just a few things that I can think of...Coal Miner's Daughter (where she won the Oscar for playing country singer Loretta Lynn) and Blast From The Past.

I have just over a handful of Humphrey Bogart films...The Maltese Falcon, Across The Pacific, Action in the North Atlantic, All Through The Night, Passage to Marseille, The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, and The African Queen.  I think that may be it unless I've forgotten one or two.

Today is also the birthday of Rod Serling.  Of course, I have all 5 seasons of the original version of The Twilight Zone (plus The New Twilight Zone, though I don't have the third version or The Twilight Zone Movie).  Rod would have been 86 today.  It's hard to believe he's been gone so long since my father is still alive and well and is also 86.  Some singers also have birthdays today: Annie Lennox (I have nothing by her), Steve Wariner (country singer, I have one or two of his albums) and Barbara Mandrell (I have at least a half-dozen of her albums).  Interestingly, Barbara quit recording several years ago, saying she would concentrate on acting but I don't recall her doing much acting since then.  Maybe she's done some TV movies but that's about it.
