I'm planning to start a screencap Advent calendar.
This game will feature 4 screencaps per round from my collection. It will start on Dec. 1st, 00.00 GMT+1, each round lasts 24 hrs, the game will end on Dec. 24th 24.00 GMT+1. Whoever accumulates the most points wins the game, the respect of the other participants and a Stargate: SG-U: Season 1 on Blu ray, kindly donated by Hal.
I hope you like this idea

Each screencap will be different in point total as determined by its difficulty, designated by the following...

(A) screencap = 1 point
(B) screencap = 2 points
(C) screencap = 3 points
(Bonus) screencap = doubles points of this round, or, if negative value, sets back the round to 0

You do not have to submit answers for any screencap you do not know. If you submit an answer, and you are correct, you receive the point total associated with the letter in parentheses. Likewise, if you submit an incorrect answer, you will lose the point total associated.



All answers must be submitted to me by PM, no later than 24.00 (GMT+1) of each round's screencaps. Late answers (by timestamp of my "Inbox") will not be counted.

When you submit an answer, you'll tell me the letter associated with the screencap you are answering along with your answer. Fairly simple, Have Fun!

Wow, Hal, that would be extremely generous. You should really try to sell it through Amazon or Ebay and get some cash for it.

Michael IF you want it to be just for Christmas... I will offer up screen caps from my collection. I have 23 Christmas movies and 13 Christmas specials that I can take screen caps from... and send to you for your game.

I know this would take me out of the running... but that is ok... I haven't gone Blu yet... and besides... I suck... which is why I usually put on the games instead of play much at them.

I try to make it not too hard.
Except for the bonus screencap, of course, which, since it might be worth 6 points, is taken from not easily memorable scenes.

That's really a surprise, at least one point is in there for any one that could use "Google".

It's probably why I never win but using something like Google seems like cheating to me. I want to try and win on my own.

I never google for such quizzes (or if then I wouldn't submit the answer). BTW: I just sent you a PM for the first two pictures.

-Pete submitted one answer (A) and is correct = 1 point
-Karsten submitted 2 answers (A + B) A is correct, B not = -1 point
-Pete submitted another answer (B) and is correct = 2 points
-Jon submitted 3 answers (of which one is ambiguous so not counted at the moment) (A + Bonus), both are correct = 2 points (Until clarification)
-Jon clarified his answer for C and is incorrect so he's on 0 now.
-Tom submitted one answer (A) and is correct = 1 point
-Antares submitted one answer (A) and is correct = 1 point
-Antares submitted another answer (B) and is incorrect = -2 points
