DVD Collectors Online

I wanted Toy Story 3 and Disney had an $8 coupon that was only good for the Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital Copy version. So I ended up buying the 4 disc combo for a dollar cheaper than the 1 disc DVD version.

The only problem is...what the hell am I going to do with the Blu-Ray disc?!?

Plus...I don't like the short blue case!

I think it was Disney, actually, who give their customers a choice between a DVD case or the Blu case for some select Blu-ray releases. So, they acknowledge that there is customers like you

Until I am done downsizing, I only plan on buying DVDs when they hit the bargain bin or Big Lots for a couple of dollars. I don't see Blu-ray prices coming down that low.

But, when I do buy a new release, such as Toy Story 3, and can get it cheaper as a combo than I will buy it. I suppose if I get enough of the Blu-ray DVDs, or if my DVD player dies, I'll probably get one that can play both kinds of format.

When I told my mom that I picked up a Blu-ray DVD she laughed and said that knowing me I'll probably wait for her to die so I can inherit hers!

I saw that Toy Story set.  If I didn't already have the first 2 on Blu, I'd be getting it.
