Critter, it's up in the Aussie store now. You can get the demo and then if you buy it, there's only 6kb (not a typo) to download to unlock the full version. I think the initial download is around the 178MB mark from memory. ~$16 I think. I've bought it already!

Critter

Thanks Wombat, I might buy it, making it the first actual thing I have bought from the Playstation Store.

Achim - I see now how having so many accounts in different stores could be useful haha, it sounds like a good idea, not really needed for someone like me though who hardly even uses the store I do have.

Also, I finally finished AC2

What did you make of the ending...?
Honestly, it spoiled the game for me a bit, I did not like it at all. I mean, sure, having Desmond doing all of that in the dreams is one thing, but then adding aliens or whatever in the mix? Seriously?

I didn't mind the ending, I got quite a thrill out of killing the pope, and then standing in that dark vault while everything unfolded was interesting. I thought Minerva was an interesting character, but I must admit that I did get a little lost when trying to follow her story.

I did however love how the game continued on throughout the credits.
Now I have to go back and get all the trophies I missed. I don't know how on Earth I am going to find all those feathers. :stars:
Yes, that was great and so far the only thing that has me interested about the next installment. In fact, I wasn't interested at all until now, as I had completely forgotten about that
First, use that special vision you can turn on, then the slight sparkling (no vampires involved) of the feathers will be much easier to see.

Then: There are maps :)

Critter

I might have to use those maps eventually. I'm currently doing the trophy for collecting all the statues at the villa. I have about two more to collect and I can't find them anywhere. I'm determined not to use the internet though becuase I found the rest of them without it.

Also, I would like to write a review here for AC2, but I appear to have lost my video game review thread.  :-[ I went through pages of the general topics and couldn't see it, I don't remember if I put it in a different sub forum or not. I tried searching for it but it didn't come up.
Anyone know where it is?

Ah thanks! I realise now I was searching for Video Game Reviews, and not marathon.

It certainly does!

So far I've only achieved the Dirty Trick trophy

Trophy list

Critter

Thanks Wombat! I absolutely love this thread. Whenever I have any PS3 problem at all you and Achim always pop up with the answer. I will probably download Scott Pilgrim soon.

It has been obligatory for the past 18 months and, as you prove yourself, a selling point for many games ;) So, any new game will have trophies.

Funny enough, some of the PSN downloadable games have the toughest set of trophies!

Critter

Trophies are indeed a good selling point for me. I have heard that the game 'The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion" is really good, and I want to play it, but it doesn't have trophies so I keep putting it off. It sort of feels like without them that there is no point. And to think we never had anything like trophies on the Playstation 2.  ::)

Everytime I think abouit it I realize how pathetic it really is. I have several games I still want to play but the lack of trophies is holding me back, making me prefer to play other games with trophies :slaphead:

Critter

Haha, I suppose we just like to show off in front of each other. Even though I don't have much to show off yet.

Although, in my case it's not just about comparing trophies to other people, I really just like having trophies for myself. I like to look at them and get a really good idea of just where I am up to in a particular game, and how far I have still to go. It's a great way to organise my games in my head. If I started playing games without trophies I think it would throw off a nice balance.
