Toy Story 3 is absolutely amazing.  Best movie I've seen all year.

And I do want to see Tangled.  The trailer played before Toy Story 3.
Jon, you're gonna love Toy Story 3, I am sure of it.

I saw the trailer just now and agree that Tangled looks like it could be a fun take on "Rapunzel" (is that also the princess' English name...?).

It is.

I don't know what year this is coming out, but with a 6.5 million Euro budget, it's an ambitious indie
IMDb says this is coming out 2011:

From Pulp Movies
QuoteIron Sky, the Finnish film about Nazis on the moon is currently in production and some footage for the film was shot  in March. This footage was intended to determine the final look, feel and mood of the movie and to iron out any kinks of the effects and CGI workflow but it will also appear in the final film. They have also built a teaser out of it and it looks stunning.

Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity.

From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late '45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right.

Now it's 2018, the Nazi invasion is on its way and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom.

Dragonfire

I definitely want to see these...I have concerns that stuff is gonna get screwed up again, but I still want to see them.  And I dread all the scenes with Voldemort's freaking snake.  Why couldn't he talk to some other animal instead?  A nice grizzly bear maybe.     Anyway..I do want to see the movie.

Since when is it in 3D?  I don't remember hearing that before.

Critter

I most likley won't see it in 3D. I have seen every other Potter film in 2D so far and that's the way I want to continue viewing them. From my experience anyway I don't really enjoy live-action films when they are 3D, I think 3D works better for animated films.

Haha oh yeah I forgot about your snake fear. Gee that must have been hard with the opening scene of the fourth film, from what I can remember there was a lot of the snake in that.

I am very excited for these two films though

Dragonfire

I have only seen..hmmm...2 live action movies in 3D..no 3.  They have been ok, but I agree..the 3D has been better for animation.

Yes I have had ....umm...difficulties with previous movies and Voldemort's snake.  The beginning of 4 is tough for me....so are a lot of scenes in 2.  The basalisk freaks me out big time.  The spiders - which freak me out in real life - didn't phase me a bit.

Critter

Nothing in the Potter films have really scared me as such so far, except perhaps the look of the Dementors, or the Inferi in film 6, but the spiders and the snakes never bothered me.

There are a lot of parts from the book that I can hardly hold back my excitment for seeing them in the film. One being the entire Malfoy Mannor chapter. I really hope they don't mess it up.

Dragonfire

I think there is a lot from the last book that has the potential to be really cool in the movie.  But there is also potential for stuff to get really messed up too.  I am really wondering how some things will be handled since a lot of the ...foundation from the books has been cut while other stupid crap has been added.
The attack on the Borrow in Half-Blood Prince is a prime example of this...that was so not needed and wasted time that could have been spent on important plot stuff.

Yes I found that scene to be ridiculous as well, and just not needed. I mean it didn't make any sense and wasn't properly explained. Did the Burrow burn down? Did they have to rebuild it? (however wizards build). I did think that Bella an Greyback looked cool creeping around in those tall reeds but thats about it. Another thing that bothered me was that when the flames were around the burrow Tonks and Lupin ran after Harry and Ginny, but they seems to be stuck behind the flames. I mean come on, they can both apparate, and they took so long to get past some fire?

That scene is what irks me the most about the movie.  I read that Yeats - who is an idiot when it comes to Harry Potter - thought it was better to show an attack on the Borrow rather than have Hermione, Ron, and Harry read about the various reports on some magical families in The Daily Prophet like was done in the book.  I think that was a huge mistake.  With how it was done in the book, you get the sense that it is an on going issue impacting many wizard families.  With how it is done in the movie..no mention of attacks and then wham..the Burrow is set on fire, it seems more like it is strictly a personal attack.  The Deatheaters attacking various wizards is part of the build up in the books..so much of that impact is lost because of a stupid decision.

Also with the attack/fire.  There are several pretty powerful wizards there.  Even Harry, Ginny, and Hermione have shown how powerful they are.  Yet they all just stand around and watch the house burn??  The fire was started with magic, so why in the world didn't one of them put it out with magic?  What the hell?  Is dealing with fire only a dark wizard ability?  I mean sheesh.

Nonsense like that is why I am so concerned about the final movies.  Yates screwed up stuff in Order of Phoenix and in Half-Blood Price.  I have no doubt that he has screwed up stuff in Deathly Hollows too.  I just hope he doesn't screw it up so much that he ruins the movie.
Achim

I saw the 6th film in IMAX and the first 20min maybe were in 3D. I assume they were retrofitted but found they were accepatble. However, while I would like to see 7.1 in IMAX again, I don't really want the 3D.
