4 by lines for me, but you will kill my internet if you list a cover for the # and all the letters from a to z since I'm on a modem connection

Sophie the letter doesn't have to be first one if you don't own a film beginning with each letters.

I hope that we will do it in november also, since I can't this time and it's a tradition

So does it still have to be a letter at the start of a word? Or could it be a letter in the middle of a word?

Jimmy

Anywhere ;D

If you check my last year list you will see that I don't use a movie starting with the letters Q, X and Z

Dragonfire

When I did it the year before last, I came up with some different ones for a few letters.

I might take part as I have films from each letter in my to watch pile :suicide:

I'm away working from tomorrow until the 20th though so I'll try my best to play catch up if I can be bothered when I get back.

Achim

At the rate you usually watch movies 10 days should be enough for you

You should be fine - I decided against it

Sorry, not to be an ass about it and it will show my OCD tendencies but: Sophie and Marie, would you mind deleting your posts (reply #11 to #15) about the table layout in the marathon thread?
It would be nice to have only the film lists of each participant and leave all discussion in this thread.

I notice my table layout is becoming quite popular! :hysterical:
I love it! Again OCD tendencies are flattered, will make it that much easier to follow!

I've yet to make it through one of these. Last year I used the Hawaiian alphabet which only has 12 letters. It was suggested that this year I try using only vowels.  :slaphead:  :-[

I'll start with that and add to it if I make it that far.  :training:

I went ahead and put mine in the table as well to make it look better. But I also added a column for the review links since I review everything I watch anyway.

I wish I had enough titles... if I had some more title with numbers I would do both numbers and letters... 0-9 (instead of just 1 number) and A-Z!

I will be double posting some of my reviews as every animated film I review for the alphabet marathon I will also add to my animated marathon.

So do we all start our own thread for the actual reviews or will they go in here?

addicted2dvd

You can if you want of course. But you don't have to double post your reviews Look at my table (2nd post in the other thread) I put a column for the Review link. This way whether the reviews are in my usually Weekend Movie Marathons or in my miscellaneous thread... I can just link to where the review is.

I won't be making a thread just for reviews for this.

RossRoy

I will be posting reviews in my own review thread and linking to them from the table. (instead of adding a column, I'll make the rating smiley a clickable link)

Critter

Haha, whoops, I forgot that I learn't how to link things to words like that (I hope I still can). That makes a lot of things easier.

I'm still curious to know how many images do you see on a single line though? (I see 7 before it cuts to a second line for the last 3)

1600x900 screen here and I see 6

Thinking about whether to participate  :hmmmm:

Life? - Who needs a life when you have anime!

My DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-ray Collection
My Library
My CD Collection - sorry I use readerware for that and it doesn't have an online component.

Dragonfire

I'll have to see if I can figure how to link to stuff here...I think I figured it out once.  Now if I remember.

I'm sure some of mine will be for the Hitchcock marathon I'm still trying to finish.
