In the genre Westerns...

In The Magnificent Seven, just as in Seven Samurai, the film it was based upon, 4 of the 7 are killed by the bandits.

Name the 3 actors who survive?

I don't need their character names, just who played them.

Rogmeister

Rats...believe it or not, I haven't seen this one...at least not since I was a kid and I'm not sure I did then.  But I may as well guess (I'm sure I'll be wrong) and go with Steve McQueen, Eli Wallach and James Coburn...

Najemikon

Steve McQueen
Yul Brynner
Horst Buchholz

erm... not sure all of a sudden... :bag:

Antares

Rog, I am in complete shock!!! :o

All the westerns you own and you've never seen The Magnificent Seven?

Sorry, but I have to  :redcard: you for that.

You really need to exorcise that demon immediately!

Antares

Jon is correct

What genre next?

We're a good ways into this game and no one has selected Comedy, Drama, Horror or Sports yet. I'm  :o

Najemikon

Woohoo! I was worried I'd got mixed up between Horst and Brad.

Ok, we'll go... Horror. ;)

Rogmeister

Well, I do own a copy of The Magnificent Seven...I just haven't got around to watching it yet.  But soon!

Good thing Pete's not taking part in this (far as I know) since he might smoke you on horror.  Then again, everybody here except for me seems an expert in that category.

Have I mentioned I got a new kitten this week?  :yahoo:

Antares

In the genre Horror...

In the film Don't Go in the House, the main character likes to play with fire. Unfortunately, he doesn't set buildings on fire, he torches people instead. At one point in the film, we get an exposition scene that explains what happened in his childhood that made him that way. What did his mother do to him that caused his psychosis?

I'm looking for the specific action she did.

Did you name him Cat Masterson?

OOOoooohhhhhhh.......I know that's bad.  :bag:

Rogmeister

  Cat Masterson would've been great if I'd thought of it!  He is black and so tiny I decided to call him Tadpole since he reminded me of one.   ::)

I bet he hasn't... but I bet he's considering it!

EDIT: Tadpole is a great name!

By the way, when I said "Horror"? I meant horror spelt "N-O-I-R". Stop asking me shit I don't know. :training:

Maybe you should have thought of that before you picked horror.   :hysterical:

I knew my subliminal suggestion at the bottom of that post would influence you.

You are probably the only person here who knows any trivia in Noir. This gives others a chance now.

Cue Snidely again!
