Thank you, everyone. I appreciate all the kind thoughts...especially Pete's John Wayne poster.  He knows the Duke is my favorite.

Today's schedule: dialysis, dinner at brother's, watch the finale to the celebrity tournament on Jeopardy! (Jane Curtin, Michael McKean, Cheech Marin), maybe catch a bit of the Pittsburgh Pirates playing against the St. Louis Cardinals.

   Thanks again, everyone.  Unfortunately, I can't have that cake.  I am diabetic, you know.

I had chili at my brother's home after a rousing dialysis session.  I also got some chocolate sugar free pudding topped off with some low-sugar Cool Whip.

When I got home I found a book waiting for me in my mailbox...a used book I had won in a trivia contest from a classic movie e-mail list.  The book is "The Actor's Life: Journals 1956-1976" by Charlton Heston...so the journals list his entries during a little film titled Ben-Hur.  I wonder if there was a later book...could he have entries during his guest-star turn on Friends?  That could be fun...if he did and if that were published in a later volume.   

Sorry I hadn't replied sooner, I crashed on my bed last night so there went my entire afternoon!
